THIS PLACE IS EXTRAORDINARY!! I have used many Groupons trying to find somewhere fun to dance and work out and EVERY other time, the staff and clientele were either intimidating. I would either get a closed clique kind of vibe or in one case, distinct feelings of unwelcome because I didnt know their routines, habits, or I unknowingly stood in someone elses usual spot. Diva Den? Oh my freaking god!! I dont think I was made to feel this welcome since my last birthday party! For friggin serious - I called to figure out how to activate my account and the woman who helped me, Valerie, could not have been more patient, helpful, and pleasant. A few times I went, I wasnt sure which room my class was to be in and every time, the front desk staff on duty gladly showed me to the room the class was in without even a flicker that implied I was an inconvenience, which would have been fairly reasonable given that I was asking them to walk me to class like they were my mother on the first day of kindergarten. The classes?? EVERY instructor Ive taken a class from has been kind and patient and helpful AND more importantly, the classes are challenging but ABSOLUTELY SO MUCH FUN. Hashim, the instructor of a class that starts at 5:30am gave me individual help and encouragement despite the early hour and my abysmal ability to keep up with the regulars (who were also willing to help me get into their routines). Rosella is the instructor for "Its a Groove Thang!" and she makes the class SO fun - shes enthusiastic and energetic and her dance moves are less mind-boggling and complicated and more fun than other dance workout classes Ive taken. By that, I mean, she gives you choreography that is delightful even if you are not as...coordinated as others (take it from me, as my friends always refer to me "dancing" in quotes). "Its a Groove Thang!" is easily my favorite dance workout class I have EVER taken and I have tried MANY. I took "Center of Gravity" with Jody and since Valerie was at the front desk that day, she kindly tipped Jody off that I was new (Valerie is a GD ANGEL). Jody helped me through all of the movements. I was SO scared before signing up for this class because it involves fabric slings hanging from the ceiling and I worried Id end up tangling myself up and flopping around helplessly like a flying goober while the rest of the class looked on in perplexity and disdain. I couldnt have been more wrong. Jody helped me with everything before I even had to ask and the others in the class seemed to want me to succeed as much as I wanted to! And the class was DELIGHTFUL. I felt incredible afterward. I dont have a single negative word to say about this place. This review may sound like overenthusiastic hyperbole, but I dont usually gush. I just genuinely believe that this place is a wonderful, WONDERFUL place to go, workout, chat with inexplicably helpful and kind people. It is SO worth your time, money, and even commute! I have recommended it to all of my friends because it is a BLAST and a half and I have thoroughly enjoyed every single visit from beginning to end! It doesnt really have to be said, but to be clear aka redundant: HIGHLY. HIIIIIIIGHLY. RECOMMEND!!

I cannot tell you how AWFUL I felt after taking a couple of pole classes here. The teacher was 20 minutes late, and brought her 2 year old daughter to the class. The kid was unsupervised and walking around by me and others while we were trying to practice spinning on the poles! Dangerous! Also it is very hard to bring the sexy out when a two year old is laughing at you. The teacher spent most of the time working on her own moves on the pole, not giving direction, so I pretty much walked in circles around the pole most of the time. I was crying from frustration and embarrassment before the class was done. I have also had Many problems with the registration system. I called to ask for help, my multiple messages were not returned, neither were my emails. Several weeks later I FINALLY get a response from Summer, with no help, just a list of excuses why she didnt help me earlier (Im busy, my kids are homeschooled, I run this business myself, I had problems with my email, I had problems with my phone, etc etc etc) In the end, I didnt even finish using the gift certificates I bought. A big waste of money, and my legs were completely covered in bruises after one class.

An entirely class-based studio for women with a variety of fun classes at varying intensity levels, that will leave you feeling good about yourself and happy you went to class. The names of dance classes are reminiscent of OPI nail polish, and each amazing. My personal favorites: Bottoms Up and Ab-solutely, both 30 minute classes with interval training focused on - you guessed it - behinds and abs. The studio also offers a variety of barre and dance classes to match your preference, as well as yoga (including aerial), pilates, and more. Ive seen great results from the barre and tabata classes. Fun, current music is played, and the instructors are kind and professional with great attitudes to make the classes ones that you will look forward to throughout the day. Morning and evening classes are offered to help fit any schedule. The only downside: no showers, though the studio tries to compensate with body wipes and a sink. There are lockers to keep your belongings, as well as cubbies in the studios. I didnt use these services, but its worth noting that they also have a massage area and offer manicures, as well as child care and pole classes.

At first I was intimidated by this "boutique" gym. Then I went to my first pole dance class. I need a stronger word, "love" doesnt cut it! Everyone, instructors and classmates alike is so supportive and friendly that it always feels like a girls night when I go. I love the club lights, they make me feel sexy and the routines are fun. Kristin talked to me a bit and then not only recommended that I use my free week but suggested some specific classes for me that I love. I cant do boring workouts and here I dont have to, I can do burlesque dancing, aerial yoga (this has just about fixed my car accident owies) and sexy stretching to my hearts content! I LOVE THIS PLACE and my new bubble butt. It feels like Im going to the spa...and there are spa services on the premises so.... :) Try it, you will love it!

This place has literally transformed me from someone who had been fairly inactive for the last two years into someone who works out 6 days a week. I love that im NOT working out in a clear glass paned room in the gym where men and women alike can watch me jiggle from their stair machines!!! The instructors at Diva Den are encouraging and make class fun. I love that Im starting to recognize faces of other members and feel really comfortable coming here and giving it my all. The dance classes are my FAV, its SUCH a good time. I now come here with friends from work and its safe to say our lives are better for it!! My only warning is if youre a germophobe, figure out which classes require a yoga mat and bring your own :)
