I can fully say that these people are not capable of keeping good business practices. After being told that I could drop off my external hard drive for analysis, I came into the location that they spoke of. I noticed that yes the people was under repair. Maybe this is why I never got a phone call back speaking on the status of my hard drive. One can say that Oh they must have lost your number. On the contrary, I received a phonecall from them the same day giving me a quote and an ok for a Laptop monitor replacement. However, when it came to the Hard drive, I heard they would contact me within a day or so. Needless to say, I never heard back from them. Upon calling up for the status of my hard drive, they told me that they usually reach out to the customer on several accounts (They had my phone number. I never received a call). They also said that any unclaimed technology is -scrapped-. Not only did I lose a huge database of information that could have possibly been recovered, the information is now forever lost. Thank you NERV, Perhaps I should have known not to go to a facility named after an Anime.

My father recommended I take my broken MacBook here rather than the Apple store when the laptop started having trouble. I actually took it the Apple Store first. Just a side note, but our local Apple store is a complete zoo -- so many people on top of other people that I felt like I needed a shower after leaving the store. Anyway, the Apple geniuses said the hard drive inside my MacBook failed and there was nothing they could do for my data, but they would replace the hard drive for a cost since the MacBook was out of warranty. I couldnt lose my information, it was more important than the laptop itself to me. To my surprise one of the geniuses actually said I should take my laptop to NERV, exactly where my father said to take it in the first place. I ended up taking the laptop to NERV, which was about a 12 minute drive from the Apple store. What a completely difference experience here! Ultimately not only did NERV get my data back, something that I was stressing so badly over, but they also fixed the MacBook for less than half of what Apple wanted to charge. So, so happy!

Our business recently underwent a large, much needed technological upgrade that included not only computers, servers & switches but medical equipment as well. The company that sold us the equipment initially sent in one of "their" technicians to perform the installation (which turned out to be some random independent contractor who was extremely insulting and vile). The installation with the contractor was a total nightmare. We were informed, at the day of the installation mind you, that the entire building needed to be re-wired since our current set-up was entirely incorrect. I immediately called NERV (who I had utilized on several prior projects) to help us with this massive undertaking, and they arrived within 10 minutes. Not only did NERV do a wonderful job re-wiring the building, they actually corrected the crippling mistakes made by the contractor that did the installation. We are now up and running better than ever. I highly recommend utilizing this company if you want the job performed correctly.

My experience at NERV was awesome. Theyre very easy people to work with and very fast. I spilled water into my laptop and the keys stopped working completely. I brought it in and the guy at the front desk told me exactly what the issue was. The quote I was given was for a full keyboard replacement and it seemed very reasonable. The keyboard had to be ordered and wasnt available immediately, so I approved before I left and paid for it. I had the laptop back in 2 days. This repair place was recommended to me by a few people I work with and my experience was basically the same as theirs -- excellent. One thing to note is that they relocated from the Dorney Park area to an area about a mile away on Tilghman St. It was actually very convenient, I just got off on Tilghman St. east from 309 and theyre building is on the left side immediately after the exit. I couldnt find a sign so that threw me off a little bit, but they said it was because the sign wasnt relocated from the old building yet.

NERV Computers & IT Solutions, 4295 W. Tilghman St, Allentown 18104, gets 5 out of 5 stars for their handling of my recent desktop computer failure. One of the memory slots went bad along with the video card displaying lines across the screen. They could have told me I needed a new motherboard (100s of $) but instead Mathew said I could just not use that slot & have less memory which was fine by me since I still had plenty. They also let me order my own video card which they installed. Total of $78 for diagnosis & installing my card with 3 day turn around. Knowledgeable, fairly priced, HONEST!! They work on anything connected with computers like home networking solutions on site & also work with cell phone issues. Highly recommend this company which recently moved from Dorneyville Shopping Center in Allentown.

Like the others leaving reviews I can say that my overall impressions are that no one even comes close in this area to the quality thats offered here. Sometimes you just know that a place (and people) are pros at what they do. Thats here. The owners and employees are knowledgeable on any issue Ive ever needed help. Software, hardware, data recovery, cell phone issues, and dozens of other issues -- they always know what to do to fix a problem. I tried one of the "geek" companies before. Best buy geeks and office depot geeks and all kinds of random geek companies.. believe me that there is no comparison. The difference in knowledge and experience is so extreme that its not even useful to draw a comparison. Bottom line if you want your stuff fixed, whatever it is, you take it here.

Years ago we discovered NERV while looking to move our office. NERV was recommended to us by another company in the same business complex and theyve been helping us now for over 10 years. Anything and everything IT they do it and they do it like no one else. Theyve upgrade our in-office technology, the network, the servers, replaced and setup multiple computers over the years, the peripherals, the mobile devices, and much more. NERV is our one-stop shop for all technology needs and weve never been happier with a tech support company as we have with the technicians who come to service our equipment and software.

I had gotten a virus on my computer and looked around on Google for a place to take my laptop. I have to say that all glowing reviews are completely correct. I came in prepared for the worst, but not 24 hours later I am extremely satisfied with the repair, the service, and the price. There are a couple of reviews on here that are hilarious from 3 years ago and must have been written by someone who was drunk, but rest assured these repair people are awesome. The only problem I had was finding the rear of the building where the store is located. For anyone reading this, its literally right next to Dorney Park.

Per Julies review: Julie, you and I spoke earlier today, and as I had mentioned to you over the phone our notes indicates that a technician did contact you regarding your hard drive. I had informed you that your data would not be recoverable by us and your hard drive was available for you to pick up. From our conversation, you did not express any dismay. I will suggest to you again that it is important to have a backup of all of your information -- hard drives can and will fail, resulting in loss of data. We at NERV apologize for any inconvenience or miscommunication that has resulted from this.
