My friend introduced me to Anu Fitness about a year ago. It is a little bit of a drive for me but I can assure you its worth the extra drive. I started at Anu Fitness as a pay as you go member paying $10/class to take spin classes there. At first, I thought this was my best option since the member is $200 initiation fee and $59/month membership. I thought this was pretty steep, especially since the gym is only convenient to one of my offices, not to my home. After doing the math however, I realized that I would be paying less to join the gym than I was paying per class each week, only if I could get the initiation fee waived. It was also comparable to any gym I would pay for in and around the city. When they waived my initiation fee since I had taken so many classes already, it was a no brainer to join. Anu has great equiptment that is clean and functional, The shower area/locker room is large and clean making it convenient for me to get ready for work. Luckily for me, another added bonus of going before work is the lack of crowd. The smoothie bar is a nice amenity as well. I also got a couple of free smoothies when I joined. I often get post workout smooties that contain fresh fruit, Kale, coconut water and protein. I recommend it.
