My dealings with this office have been very unprofessional. I bought a home from an agent from this office who owned the home and acted as his own agent. Conversations were professional and respectful until the day of settlement, when the couple showed up very late and followed up with a childish emotional outburst of anger, because we could not allow them to rent back until the end of the month. When we moved in, we discovered that they had left the house very dirty, removed over 40 light bulbs from the house (all but a half dozen) and left a toilet clogged with human waste. It was disappointing and made me realize the value of a good realtor.

ERA Sold my home in Texas and charged me 16%. Think I would learn my lesson, but had ERA to buy my home in Harrisburg. Took forever to find anything, took for ever to close, and I had to do most of the foot work. I was suckered into ERA mortgage Services, and hating every second of it. They lost a payment, that has taken me over three months to get it back, and the customer service doesnt exsist. There is only one telephone number that is all computer menus, and it takes a minimum of 15 mins to finally get throught the menus to talk to a human.(who in most cases, can barely speak English)

I called this company hoping to find my next home for my family to live in. When I spoke to the broker Mike Garmen, he was very rude. I asked about the pet policy and he said they dont really like to have pets, I said Sir it doesnt state on the posting that it is a no pet place. He stated back to me hows your credit cause most people who have dogs with credit issues are a problem for him. After he made that statement I couldnt believe a broker with a license would be making those kinds of accusations. I would never rent from this company or suggest anyone to even call this company.

I rented a property through JGR and my experience with their office was quite unprofessional. My calls were never returned in a reasonable time frame (at least 3 days per call), things that were supposed to have gotten fixed never were, and then when I moved out they just made up damages and kept my security deposit! I would advise against ever using this office.

I have been with Coldwell Banker since before they acquired ERA and Jack Gaughen several years ago. I cant say enough about how great this company is, and how above board, professional, and client-minded the agents and staff are. Its a shame some of those old reviewers didnt get to experience the greatness of the current operation. CB Rocks!
