Our Experience with Cynthia Armour helm the broker for this better homes and gardens was nothing short of a disaster. I would not recommend anybody to do any business with them The office is poorly organized, there is little communication and it got so bad we felt a need to pay an attorney to cover us in our dealings with them. We agreed on a price for our home with our attorney present, as each day passed the money got less and less, on closing day, it got even more outrageous. we sat in a room at their office for 2 hours with zero communication from her even though she was a few feet down the hall..because thousands of dollars was missing from our original contract, it was well over an hour before Cynthia even came in to see what was wrong. Zero professionalism. We ended up walking out because we no longer trusted anything they said...It gets better..Cynthia also switched all our utilities into her name and did not even own our home for a second then canceled it and due to that our basement in the home we were trying to sell flooded because the electric company turned off our service. When confronted about her unethical behaviour and the fact that our basement flooded because she put service in her name before she owned the home she did not apologize or offer to help clean it up.instead she called the police. For your own well being do not hire them to sell a doghouse and spread the word. Doors were also left unlocked, lights left on, windows left open. They have zero regard for your property.

I was in the process of buying a house through Exit Realty. After the home inspection uncovered some disturbing information about the property, which wasnt included in the sellers disclosure, I decided to withdraw my offer. According to my contract, I was entitled to my deposit back. However, the rules have somehow changed. The last email I received from my Exit Realty agent informed me that I either had to buy the house or lose my deposit. You count on your agent to act in your best interests, and to be your representative in your pursuit for that perfect home. Between the home inspection and the deposit, Im out $1,350. As a working, single mom, thats quite a financial blow to absorb. I reached out to the broker, after seeing such positive customer testimonials on their website. However, she doesnt seem to be as caring and attentive in my case. I didnt even receive a response to my email. Thats been my experience with Exit Realty. There are many real estate companies out there to chose from. Choose wisely!

Im not really able to rate this realty company on the way they do business. I am, however, able to rate them on the way they act as an organization. My only contact with Exit was a single, very negative experience with one agent who is no longer with them. Although his actions were not appropriate, they clearly did not represent Exit as an organization. Their management took the time to investigate the matter thoroughly, in order to be fair to everyone involved. They did the right thing in the situation, for which I respect them. Although I havent had occasion to use their services since then, I find Exits professionalism to be above reproach.

They always threatened to eviction if you are only a couple days late on rent, or another bill. They change late fees for everything! For the price that we pay for rent, we also have to pay for everything else, even when an ongoing drain issue happened, we were expecting to pay for the plumber, $300 for a ten minute job!
