If youre looking to buy a home in Alexandria or Arlington, I can recommend Shaun Murphy without reservations. My wife and I had saved for several years to buy our first house. Although we had done a substantial amount of research on our own, we still had a number of questions. Shaun patiently walked us through all of these questions and helped us to navigate the home-buying process confidently. Shaun did an initial interview to assess our needs and then spent an afternoon and several evenings showing us houses. He worked around both of our busy schedules. After narrowing in on what we were looking for, Shaun found a seller that was interested in selling and we were able to make a successful offer before the house went on the market. It was a fair deal for us and the seller. Shaun was also a useful resource during the closing process. Although we did substantial research on our own, we ended up going with his recommendations for financing and insurance. He has also provided helpful advice on contractors and handymen to help us spruce up the home. If we find ourselves in the market to sell our home or purchase another one, we will be giving Shaun a call.
