the place is very clean and up to date. the hair stylists are very nice and professional. Ive gotten my hair cut only a couple of times there, but when I have Ive always came out pleased!! Id say th only negative would be that the stylists were not very knowledgeable when it came to "the current" hair trends. Last year I wanted bangs like Courtney Kardashian. (dont laugh, lol) when I asked if stylist knew what I was talking about she said she had never heard of the Kardashians or of the show. I would have to say even if u dont like the Kardashians almost everyone has at least heard of them. she asked a couple of the other girls that were working that day and none of them knew what I was talking about. I found that odd. But, I did find something similar in the haircut books that are offered and she was able to give me what I wanted. So I couldnt complain :) I would definitely recommend this place as the best "no appointment needed" hair salon.

I went there a couple months ago. I had almost shoulder length hair at the time and i was just getting a new cut to get a new style.. I kept telling the girl exactly how I wanted it cut. She would not listen... I kept saying "chop it right there!" and she kept just snipping little bitty snips barely even cutting my hair... at the end of my hair cut, I was just frustrated. I went home satisfied enough...my husband was cheching out my hair and he exclaims that the back of my hair is totally crooked. the back was longer than the front of my hair,..I was actually going for the opposite.. the front was supposed to be longer and the back of my hair shorter. My husband ended up taking scissors to my hair to try and fix the awful hair cut.

I usually do not take the time out to write a review but I felt as though this experience needed to be shared, that I had a wonderful experience at Great Clips! I just moved to the area and I picked Great Clips because it was close to my work, and I was unaware of all the salons in Chambersburg. All I did was tell the stylist a few bits of information about what I wanted and showed a blurry picture from my phone to give her an idea. With just that she gave me EXACTLY what I wanted and it looks amazing! I couldnt have asked for more and I now plan on only going to Great Clips from here on out.

Got a hair cut today, simple guys cut, nothing too hard. The employee left some patches of my hair long, like she missed cutting there. This is the second time shes done this and it would have been fixed had she gone over it again more slowly a second time. This goes for the industry in general, but for this particular location it would go pretty far if they made an effort to brush off the hair they just cut.

Do not go by the hours of operation posted, they are incorrect. When asked why the hours were not posted correctly online the associate was snarky, condescending, and plain out rude. The situation was extremely unprofessional, considering Great Clips advertises no appointments needed. I would much rather go to a salon that charges more, but acts more professionally and client focused.

Website says theyre open 9-9, the door says 9-9, but the folks inside say theyre closing at 7 this day, try tomorrow. Convenient... heard from a work colleague theyre under new ownership. I guess so; I didnt recognize anybody in the lobby. Probably take our business to another outfit... Great first impression new owners!

Ive had good luck here, especially for the money. You typically arent greeted with a smile when you walk in, but they usually warm up once they start working on your hair. Dont go here if you are super picky or going for a drastic change. I go here for quick and inexpensive trims. Love the online check-in.

Took my boys to get their hair done with scissor cuts. Was hoping they could do better than I have been doing. Both were hatchet jobs. Would not recommend for boy haircuts.
