I used to love going to Town & Campus, because I am in school in another state it was always nice to know that I could come back to this salon and get a great hair cut. Unfortunately I do not believe this anymore. I walked in to get my hair cut by Kaitlin the other day and I should have know from the start that I should not have sat down in her chair. She seemed uninterested in the pictures I showed her of the hair cut that I would like, looking at them for no more than 2 seconds. She then began to cut my hair as if she was in a rush, and when a guy at the window of the shop showed up smoking, it became clear why. She spent more time looking at him than my hair (which at that point she was cutting). I should have gotten up from the chair at that moment but I found myself hoping for the best. As I said earlier: I have always been happy with my hair cuts from Town and Campus. In her distraction she combed the backing of my earring off (one that she had hit with the comb at least three times at that point) causing it to fall out. To add injury to insult, she continued to comb over a mole I had asked her to be mindful of the minute I sat down. When she finally got the attention of the guy outside, she signaled that she would be "just one minute" and continued to rush through my hair cut. As she began to wrap things up, I mentioned that this was not the hair cut that I had asked for. Like a true professional, in response to this concern, she rolled her eyes and told me that if I wanted to grow my hair out this is what I should do. I then stated again that I wanted my hair to grow out from the haircut in the photo I had shown her. Well I guess she realized I was not leaving with the hair cut she had deemed appropriate and began to work even faster (which I did not think was possible but apparently when you truly stop caring about the quality of your work it is). When she declared that she was done I asked again why the hair cut did not look like the photo and it was at that moment that she decided to tell me that my bangs were not long enough for the hair cut I had asked for. I was not upset about the fact that she sent me out of there with a hair cut that made me look like a man; I have gotten bad hair cuts before, it happens. I am mostly upset about the fact that it was blatantly obvious that Kaitlin was more concerned about socializing with the man at the window than she was taking care of her customer. I am appalled at the fact that she couldnt have thought to discuss the issues of the haircut with me before she began to cut and with the fact that she thought it was appropriate to be so rude. This is not the quality of people I am used to at Town and Campus and its unfortunate that this will be the haircut I remember you by.

I will keep coming to Town and Country because Nora rocks!!! Shes an absolute pro at cutting hair, and she made me feel welcome and understood. Im one of those crazy people who cant decide between two vastly different hairstyles and Nora was super helpful in the decision process. She took the time to look at pictures, asked just the right questions, and was warm and friendly while being completely professional. End result: I am ecstatic with my haircut! The staff here on Tuesday seemed to get along very well and they obviously treat the customers like family. I love this! It reminds me of a salon version of "Cheers". Like if Norm walked in, everybody would yell his name :). Finally, the price was right. I dont mind paying $28 (plus tip) for an excellent haircut. (Went with wet cut, didnt get shampoo because I had just showered and shampooed before coming here.)

I used to go to this place from 2007 to 2013. The manager, Kathy, used to cut my hair but then she had surgery and became the manager instead. Between 2013 and now, I went from hair stylist to hair stylist, trying to find someone who could cut my hair. I met some decent ones and then I met some bad ones. So, after looking at some reviews, I decided to go back to Town and Campus. I saw good reviews for Courtney, so I decided to have her cut my hair. My hair was so long, that I could sit on the tips and I needed a cut badly. So I made an apt. with Courtney. Between the wash and cut, my session was just 35 minutes. I dont think she missed cutting a single strand of hair. It measured up so evenly, which is hard to do, since I have very wavy hair. She listened to what I wanted done and did just what I asked. I would go back to her again, definitely!

Town and Campus saved the day! I had a botched haircut and needed help fast! I wasnt sure what they could do with it because of the former cut. They explained why they wouldnt recommend one style (It didnt look good when it grew out) and offered another suggestion. In the end, I couldnt get the style I wanted because of the former botch, but still got a fabulous hair style. My husband and I think it might be our favorite style yet! Plus the staff was friendly and helpful.

Extremely Unprofessional. Do not go here if you respect your hair. I just wanted 2 inches off, no layering. She cut by guessing, using none of the techniques most hairdressers use. She blowdryed my hair just grabbing and shaking her hands, no combs or brushes. She then straightened it which I had to allow because her blowdrying was so bad. And she missed spots. She missed spots to straighten. She was distracted the whole time. She just didnt care. Novice work.

I went here to get an eye brow wax and specifically asked for the woman to keep the shape, not to take anything extra off and for the brows to be straight. She took close to EVERYTHING off my eyebrow and Im left with barely anything on my face. Im mortified and upset. I could not have been more clear of what I wanted and never in my life had this bad of service. I would absolutely NOT recommend Town & Campus to any of my friends or visitors of Gettysburg.

Ive been comming in to town an campus for 4 years now an have always loved the enviorment and services i have gotten done. I always get my eyebrows waxed by courtney an caitlin and they continually come out spot on, i love the outcome of every service ive gotten done here an would reccomend town an campus to anyone who loves quality service and a great enviorment with awsome people !

I usually go and get an eyebrow wax specifically when Courtney was working, since she always does such a phenomenal job. The past time was terrible my eyebrows are already thin towards then ends as is. But she waxed the ends of my eyebrows COMPLETELY off. I had almost no eyebrows left. Extremely disappointed and dont know If I would trust going back.
