Ive gone twice since my regular stylist at the Woodbridge location is on vacation. I saw a platinum blond a couple weeks ago to shape up the back of my hair (its cut short). She did a good job and was nice. Today I saw Latifa (Latin I think). She was nice but i could tell she wasnt terribly experienced with doing relaxers, but it came out okay. She doesnt know how to wrap hair though so she just combed it back. Im only giving it an ok rating b/c I was told just before I came there were several people who could do relaxers, and it turned out to be barely 1 (and I got her). They had a scissor sharpener come in and they had them do their work on the floor with customers instead of in the back where they originally went. And several of them wore open toed shoes both of which I found unprofessional. The place was clean and again, everyone pleasant and in a pinch theyll work for me. Ill probably just have one of the black girls do my relaxer if I need to go back. Strange since my regular stylist at Woodbridge is Turkish!

I came in for a root touch up and it was way too dark. Came in again and it was still too dark, but instead of further lightening the color, they insisted that I must get highlights so it will match the rest of my hair. This seemed odd to me because the previous hair stylist who did a root touch up for me lightened my roots perfectly to the light brown I wanted without having to put on highlights but I agreed so as not to argue. I told the stylist that I dont get paid until next week so I cant afford to get highlights, but she insisted and she ended up charging me $20 for a couple foils. I spent nearly $100 just for them to touch up a few inches of roots to the wrong color and ended up spending more when I came in for a redo because "highlights are the only way to make my hair lighter." I did end up getting highlights even though it wasnt in my budget coming in, but the all over root color is still way too dark and I feel pretty ripped off.

Horrible. Do not go if you have curly hair. The lady told me she had to straighten my hair in order to cut it. I just wanted layers. Then she brushed my hair, while it was dry! My hair was dryer when I left then before I came.
