Some notes: I have low maintenance hair-- usually just go in for a simple haircut because I live around the corner, I tip well, usually $6 on a $14 haircut. Ive been to this location 10+ times over the past 5 years or so. Lately the service has gone from barely adequate to passive-agressive. Example 1: Entered the shop on a weekday evening, it was busy-- I saw 5 employees working. I stood waiting for 5 minutes for someone to make eyecontact or otherwise acknowlege I was present-- my sense was the employees were aware I was there but were waiting each other out to take care of me. I left, without comment. Example 2: I called ahead on a weekend to try to make an appointment, they told me they dont do walk-ins but that no one was there at the moment. I went, wound up waiting for 25 minutes. During this time several people called apparently asking the same question I had and despite the fact that I was sitting there waiting, the employees indicated there was no wait. When theyd hang up the phone theyd gripe to their co-workers about "what do these callers want from me?" When the man ahead of me complained mildly about the wait (upon being seated)-- one of the hair cutters told him he was "lucky" that it was "only 25 minutes" At that point I voted with my feet-- Ill grow a pony tail if theyre my only option for a haircut-- these employees are toxic.

I went there twice. The first was for my hair and the stylist pulled and yanked at my hair while blow drying it. The dryer was held too close to my scalp and it almost felt like it was burning. She repeatedly banged the hairbrush on my head while straightening it. The other time I went for my son and he was crying a lot since he is a toddler and the stylist left the cut mid way in a huff saying she cant do it. No apology or help in calming him down. They charge $10 if hair is at or below shoulder and refuse to give an estimate on the phone no matter how vague. Save your time, money and HAIR. Go someplace else.

if you have medium or long hair, do not go here. i went in for a simple shampoo and blowdry and it was terrible! the stylist put way too much product in my hair, so my hair looked dirty by the time she was done. not only did she repeatedly scratch my face with the brush, but she also managed to bang my scalp several times with it. remember, i didnt even get my hair cut, and the total was 31.00. are you kidding me?? its a hair cuttery - not a salon and spa, not even a Bubbles. I would almost say "you get what you pay for," but actually, i got nowhere near what i paid for.

Horrible service and horrible haircuts. I go here occasionally because it is nearby. The haircuts arent that great there, but convenience wins sometimes. But today was the worst! I went with my 2 kids and sat there for 20 minutes with no one even saying hi or trying to sign us in. There were 5 stylists there and NOT ONE even acknowledged me. They just sat there and chit chatted.... 3 were cutting , 2 were just walking around. I was so annoyed, we just left! I am never going back there again. Horrible customer service.

This place is absolutely terrible. I have been here 3 times in the past two years and have nothing good to say about it, other than it being cheap. The last time I was there I waited close to an hour after being told there was less than a 30 minute wait. The haircut quality was terrible. The lady (not sure her name) was practically jerking my head around like a rag doll, and I only got a buzz-cut. To top it all off there was an entire section of my head that wasnt even cut. Absolutely terrible.

Honestly a terrible experience. I have been going here for a very long time and every time I get a cut there is something wrong. This time they completely ignored the back side of my head and when I complained try to sit me with the same hair cutter. Extremely unprofessional. Dont waste your money on this horrible hair cuttery.

These people just made me feel transparent. Here I was standing by the counter with two of the stylists looking at the computer while helping another gentleman. After they were done with him, the door opens behind me and a woman walked in to which they both looked at the woman and said "can I help you?"... Unbelievable.

Called ahead from the road. Out of tower and they said come on in and gave a stylists name. Shelley was great. Knew hair well. Understood treatment I needed. Place was packed and folks had to be turned away b/c of wait. Glad I called ahead.

Pretty good. Needed my layers fixed and she did that, but i also asked for "feathering" ends and she didnt do that very well. Will go again and try to explain better next time.

I redye my hair about once a month and it is super cheap and does not hurt my hair at all when I do it there. I love the employees and customer service!
