I have been crying for 3 days. This might sound ridiculous, but after cutting 13+ inches of hair for only the second time in my nearly 30 years, it is a pretty emotional event. I partially blame myself for not going to an actual "salon", but after speaking with one of your stylists, whom I believe is also a manager, she put me at ease (and also told me my haircut would be free since I would be donating the hair). Im sure this is not the first story youve heard from a patron of their clip turning out less that great, in fact, I would call this cut appalling. I showed her two photos of a long bob, over 13 inches later, I dont even know what to call this mess. I described a long sexy bob with dramatic angling, the front would be slightly below my shoulder and the back would be angled properly to fall slightly below my collar. Instead I have what appears to be a shelf of hair, 4-5 inches shorter than I requested (you know, I dont have eyes in the back of my head). She was supposed to stack the back somewhat to add volume, she staked it in reverse, so now the hair underneath is so short, I cant tie my hair up without using 500 bobby pins (which being able to put in a pony, I made specifically clear). She then asked fi I would like it dried, to which I agreed, and she only halfway completed before dismissing me. I was told I have 7 days to return to have any adjustments made, but the fact that I have literally been traumatized this much by such an awful haircut, I wouldnt think of stepping foot into another Great Clips again, ever. Not even for my two little boys (whove had less than great haircuts there as well). I cannot believe you would allow such undertrained stylists into your stores, especially in such an affluent community. My hair was part of my identity, something that made me feel beautiful, like many women. I knew I was doing something selfless for someone who needed to feel beautiful themselves, and that I am grateful to be able to do. But at this moment, and since Sunday morning, I have never felt so hideous in my life. My heart is honestly broken. I have spent more money on styling products and tools this week, and will have to spend an outrageous amount of money to have this fixed (and make it even shorter!) this weekend. Hopefully I dont run out of that salon crying in shame like this one.

Had my hair trimmed, now it looks like my neighbors 11-yr old kid choppped it off randomly with big scissors. It is uneven. There is a strand hanging a couple inches longer than the rest of hair. Looks like rats tail. The shortest layer does not blend with the rest of hair, it basically looks like blunt long bob over thin long bottom layer. The ends are very blunt and the lack of professionalism is very obvious in that you can see "steps". Like my head is a building and it has stairs around it. It does not blend at all. Terrible, slapdash, uninspired and "GTFO" type of service. Please note my comment is about professionalism and not about customer service. I was greeted upon entering the place and was checked in promptly, however the amount of effort put into my haircut was minimal. And it shows

Been here twice. First time was okay. Lady was nice and haircut was about a 6.5/10. Simple low skin fade for military. This second time was terrible. Same hair cut, not complicated, I literally had to walk the lady through how to do a fade and she argued with me the whole way. It looked terrible when she was "done" so I had to coach her on what guards to use and where to cut. It ended up looking only okay but the experience was terrible. Id say it depends on the stylist but judging by the other reviews it seems the one time I had an alright haircut was a totally rare instance. No reason to pay 16 bucks when theres better places in Ashburn. Ill stick with gentlemans barber by broad run. Cheaper and much better service. Just stay away from this place they dont know what theyre doing.

Yesterday I went to the store and noticed that at least 3 customers were skipped ahead of a bunch of people waiting in the line! I was one of such customers skipped. So in spite of booking online, I ended up waiting 30 mins longer because of this favoritism. I was wondering this is the country that even the President wait for his turn to do things, but how can this store be so unfair to their customers! A stylist by name Jennifer seemed to be playing this game. Even though this is a private store and no body had the right to question their business practices, some level of fairness is required for a general customer to feel confident about a store. Unfortunately I lost the confidence in the store yesterday! Very poor customer service indeed.

I had a very bad experience at Great Clips in Ashburn today. The service and the haircut, both were bad. A young, heavier set white hairdresser cut my hair. She seemed to be in a bad mood. She was muttering under her breadth and did not give me the haircut I asked for, even though I spend 5 minutes telling her exactly what I wanted. When I asked her to cut my bangs shorter, she was extremely rude to me. I have been to great clips in the past and have gotten fairly good haircuts ( have always ignored their bad service), but this time the hairdresser was not good at her job or her mannerism.

It should be no stars!!! I just walked in. The stylist asked for my last name, couldnt find me...asked for my phone number, couldnt find me...asked for another number, couldnt find me either. Mind you there was no other customer in the shop. She just kept saying "uhum". I finally said "thats ok, thank you" and I left. She never asked to cut my hair, what I wanted to do today, or try to make me an account. If you dont want any business then please...close your doors, turn off your lights, and stay in the little room you and your other stylist were hiding in. Never will come back!!!

If you want to save both your money and time, NEVER visit this place. All of them appears to be rookie with little or no experience. Unfortunately, I decided to had it since I was running of time. She did it in less than 10 minutes and messed up my hair badly. When I asked her to cut a little more from a side, she replied you said 3 inch, so machine did 3 inches. I cannot do anything now. It seems she is a sadist. I will never recommend anyone to go to this salon. And whoever has rated it 5 means its a FAKE review.

This place is getting worse day by day. I see new hair specialists which seems like picked up from street with no experience . To add to mix all of them are rude. There online checkin is hit and miss. I tried it couple of times and sometimes it shows up in the list and sometimes it does not lust no of guests. I suggest not to use this place. Owner will not like to even discuss any issues and will not like to share the information to provide feedback
