my recent visit to the southriding greatclips branch was very inconvienent to me because they are now promoting eyebrow threading more than they are focusing on the actual haircut, Me and my family have been loyal customers for over seven years now. The employee that was hired to do the eyebrow threading was asking everybody that walked in is they needed their eyebrows done, The owner so called manager also bagged the customer to give her a chance. They are always short staffed and puts more pressure on the stylist to finish in about seven min. Instead of focusing on the haircut that you so prouldly stand behind. One people came in after me and went first because they needed their eyebrows done. I was just left to sit there without any explanation of why they went in front of me. I would have said something to the manager but his attitude seemed that it would have been pointless. I finally was asked if I was ready for my haircut and the results were unsatisfactory to say the least. I beleve they focus more on the eyebrows than they do the actual haircuts and their final results is below par. When the eyebrow threading is done it is straight cash that goes directly in to owners pocket. I think the franchise should take action or at least take notice of what is going on. Start focusing on improving the quality of your haircut for loyal customers that have been going there for years. I also feel I cant go back south riding great clips because of the bad experiences that I have received over and over. I believe it starts with management perticularly the one you have in charge of that branch.

This is the WORST Great Clips, no, worst place I have ever gone for a haircut. Extremely rude owner and unconcerned staff. I am not normally fussy about these things, but these people were openly, extremely and unnecessarily offensive. Here is my experience - I went in for a haircut and when I sat on the chair, without even asking me what I wanted, the stylist took the scissor to my hair. And trust me, I am the most no fuss person when it comes to my hair, I only wanted to trim a few inches. But how would she know that without asking? But that isnt even my biggest problem here. When I stopped her and explained to her what I wanted, the owner passed by, and in a very loud and rude manner said this to stylist - If the people want to change their mind about the cut they want, they will be charged twice. I am sure he fully meant to convey that to me, and I could not even believe my ears. Here I was only explaining (for the very first time) what I wanted, because how else is she to know? And this guy intervenes for no good reason, and decides to be rude and obnoxious, while he is at it. Clearly I am never going to this place again.

Upon entering I was greated and put in the system so I could log in before I got there next time and be ready to get haircut next time faster. This sounded great but the bad news is i will never be going back here. My 2 co-workers and my girlfriend asked me who cut my hair which I thought they would be complimenting it since I tried a new place. Comes to find out all 3 of them told me my hair looked bad and asked did I cut it. They took a picture and I looked at it and couldnt believe how bad it was. (haircut) I asked for a # 1.5 on sides and trim on top. They ended up giving me a 1 (isnt the biggest deal) and trim up top. The lady cut my front hair that hangs over my face so short I cant come it anymore. My lines on the back of my head or so crocked I cant believe it was a professional cut. Side burns were uneven and my hair is longer in different spots. In not picky at all but when the cut is this bad, of course I will be upset. I will date the service from the front guy who takes your info a 4 star as he did great but the cut was horrible.

I just got a haircut with Great Clips in South Riding--the hairstylist did a good job considering a rather rude owner that was constantly looking over- after he told her that she hits the 20minute mark (policy). I had long hair with layers and I wanted the same cut. I find it rude to me as the customer when the hairsylist seems to rush what she was doing because the owner was counting every minute against her, per their policy. When I checked out I mentioned the policy to him and handed the coupon for 7.99. This man told me that "the lady spent 35 minutes for this price!" That was really rude. I handed $20 to pay for the 7.99 and gave the rest to the hairstylist. I would have bought the shampoo/conditioner ($35) that this man offered to me while I was having my hair cut, but I decided not to spend another dime to add to his "bottomline". I will NOT recommend nor go back to that place for as long as that rude man owns or manages that franchise!

I was fairly dissatisfied with my experience here. I thought I could give this place a try. I sat down to get my haircut and a lady named Laura( who said she only works on Sundays and Thursdays) gave it to me. I told her what I wanted and I also showed her a picture, she eventually messed it up, I told her the mistake, I also told her I wanted one part to be cut and then she starts cutting something else which eventually ruined my hairline. She didnt even say sorry she just said " you can use gel to cover it up." I usually go to C.J. haircuts right by Harris Teeter in South Riding, and they always do a good job. I also dont want anyone to get fired.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They are hands down the worst hair cut place ever. My god. They know how to cut hair one way (just cut it all off) regardless of what you say to them. I could do that myself in a mirror. If Im paying $14 for a haircut I should at least get an attempt at what I want. Ive figured I must be kind of masochistic because Ive been going here forever and I dont think Ive ever gotten a good haircut. These guys are bad. Bad is an understatement. If you even partially care about yourself you wont come to this place. You definitely have to hate yourself a lot to willingly get your hair cut here.

Great Clips @ Peacock Market Plaza, South Riding, VA sucks. They are always short staffed at their busy times. This lady names Lynn is a b****. She ruined my mothers day by chopping of my hair. First off all she was complaining about my long hair after that she started cutting my hair without wetting it. She was frustrated and was complaining about being short staff. Since the owner of that place has changed this place sucks. I told her to cut only 2 inches and that too layered, she cut 4 inches of my hair. This was the worst experience of haircut in my life. Will never ever go to great clips in my lifetime
