Being a person who self-describes as being completely unknowledgeable about vehicles and car care, my family and I depend on working with someone who is not only professional and skilled at what they do, but above else, someone that we can trust. Life is busy -- I dont want to have to deal with more unexpected breakdowns and issues that take me away from my day than I have to. HC Automotive takes a ton of care with each client that comes in and approaches business the right way. I dont want the cheapest... I want the best value -- and I put a lot of value in HC Automotives extra effort in thoroughly checking our vehicles over and telling me what issues exist today and what issues are on the horizon. They arent pushy or sales-y, but they do a good job educating me on what is important or what can wait. Huge value on that to me and I appreciate that they arent condescending and they dont look to take advantage of someone who doesnt know.

7/6 Just had our camper inspected, doesnt sound like a big deal, but the owner fit us in the day we were leaving, the shop was full, so he checked it out in the parking lot, laying in a lot that was just rained on and got us on the road quickly, they go the extra mile, no matter how small the task. Very pleased. I have taken our cars to the dealership and to other local shops, and now will not even consider another shop other than HC Automotive. I have experience with them since they opened. Accurate diagnosis, fair prices, and the work is backed up. The owner is honest and has a lot of integrity. Knowing that I can trust the shop that works on my vehicles is a great feeling. You will not be disappointed.

I brought my wifes car in to Jon last week, to investigate an issue thats been going on. We spoke on the phone briefly before I brought it by, and I left the car for the day. When I went to pick it up, he was completely honest with his findings and charged me MUCH less for his diagnostics than I was expecting. Yet he did a very thorough job with the car. This is a real mechanic, and I am extremely happy that hes so close to where I live! He also does motorcycle inspections, which is an added bonus for riders who need a place for yearly stickers! I have no idea how I never knew this place existed - but Im glad I found it and will be going back, for sure.

I went to HC Automotive in October 2016. I went in for transmission shifting hard and a Traction Control Service light on. After changing a leaking line and transmission flush, the garage said the issue was fixed. As soon as I got back on the highway, the issue was unchanged. The repairs werent guaranteed to solve my problem, but after a large bill, and a false "Issue Resolved", I am left where I started with a traction control light that was never addressed and hard shifting. Changed to 1 star as my fix was $10 for a new MAF Connector. My MAF did register a code that the garage ignored.

HC Automotive offers exceptional service at a fair price. They are really good at letting you know what is wrong with your car as well as what could be done in the near future. They also have really fast service, unlike other car shops that take your car and just let it sit there for a week and then finally work on it (absolutely ridiculous). Not at HC Automotive though, they have your car in and out as quick as they can. The overall atmosphere and experience at HC Automotive is fantastic, I would highly recommend experiencing the quality, integrity, and care for yourself!

I wouldnt consider going anywhere else. Recently had to get towed from pretty far away. Someone asked if it wouldnt be cheaper to get towed to a nearby shop. I said "Sure it would. But if Jon tells me the transmission is blown, I know it is. If some guy tells me the same thing, Ill have to tow it again for a second opinion anyway." You cant overstate the value of having a mechanic you can trust. Incidentally, it was the transmission, and HC replaced it the same week. They truly care about their customers and give unbeatable service.

This industry tends to be shady, and you always want to challenge your mechanic and what actually needs fixed. Jon doesnt mess around. He fixes whats broken, and lets you know what could be in the future, belts, exhaust, brakes, tires, he not only helps you in a pinch, but he gives you a heads up before you are stranded by the side of the road. These guys know their stuff. I switched to HC Automotive, no regrets here.
