A lot of smoke and mirrors. After being assured I wouldnt be lied to and told it would be close to a grand to fix my car. I took my vehicle for a second opinion. The second place showed me all of the problems. AAA Downingtown never told me the extent of the damage. My left rear tire was basically on the verge of a blow out. I was told by them after a "safety check" my tires and pressure were good. This was false. They told me my brake pads were at 2 in front and 3 in rear. They were metal to metal. And my brake sensor line was blown apart or ripped when they supposedly inspected the brakes. I was never notified of this. They assured me my rotors were fine, that I just needed pads. This was false. Creating a very dangerous situation for me. I made it very clear, Im an outside sales rep and Im always in car on highway. Very disappointed. Drove 6 hours this weekend to visit family and spent my money with a more reputable service center. Calling corporate Monday morning to make them aware of the unsafe situation. I will never go back to that store!

Horrible service and even more horrible management! Here is my experience. I made an appointment one week ago for today’ inspection and oil change. I dropped my car at 8:30AM and asked the service person how long it would take. He told me about 3 hours because there was one car before me. Until 2PM, nobody called me, so I called them. Someone told me that they were working on my car and they would call me soon. At 3:30PM, a guy called me and told me they could not take care of my car today because they had a lot of jobs. Gave me two choices, either drop the car on Monday or pick it up without any service. When I picked up the car, I requested to talk to their manager. The manager was even more ridiculous. He defended themselves every hard (like they had a lot of work today and asked me to drop my car on next Monday again) and even no a single word for apology. I felt I already wasted a whole day and no need to waste any more time on that useless discussion. Therefore, stepped out immediately. Won’t enter that door again certainly.

I had to get tires for my 2012 Charger SRT8 and turned out that AAA had the best prices on tires (After an awesome price match). I ended up getting the continental extreme contact dws06. They were almost the same price of Tire Rack. They then applied a Managers discount for some reason which helped on the labor cost. Even got a nice deal on an alignment. What I was most pleased about, was a supervisor watching the entire process, making sure the job was done carefully and correct. You dont get this at the dealerships. I am very cautious as to who works on my car, but AAA did it right. Who would have thought?

At first I thought I was getting quality service at a good price. Now in hindsight, I was mistaken. I have spent 3500 in repairs here since it opened. I priced out all my work there at todays prices and found it was considerably cheaper almost everywhere else. $700-800 cheaper. I also am suspect of some practices there auch as changing the parking brake on one wheel only. I am embarrassed that I was taken in by the new building and prior experiences with AAA roadside assistance. I can no longer pay money to a place like this.

This place is not part of my AAA club but the staff went totally out of their way to help resolve my problem.
