Last straw today, Fantastic Sams on Ferry Rd, near CVS from now on. For a year I was a monthly haircut, real simple nothing fancy "Short, clean, easy, and fast. Do whatever you think will look good." kind of guy. Convenient location, quick service (usually) since I always said whoever is available. A few months ago I stopped in for a quick trim, and all of the sudden the posted price $16, was no longer the price; its $18. Every haircut from there gets $20 cash and I am out ($4 for 5 minute cut, no wash, dry or anything on top of their however they do the regular money part). After the $18. incident the next trip yielded a $16. cut. There are 3 awesome people at Cross Keys weekday crew (never got too into conversation and its been so long since the cut; but they are The Sailor, and The Russian Lady(?) {sorry}. Bigger, colorful hair girl and Shaved side head lady both come off as too good to be there one might be a "manager" and I sincerely hope not for Hair Cutterys sake (shaved side head girl). There was a full house today and maybe 8 ladies cutting hair. Eventually almost everyone was done with who they were working on and the Russian? and another nice seeming lady were cleaning quick and hard preparing for the next people (I was the only waiter left in the room), the bigger purple/pink hair girl and the shaved side head left hair and everything all over and stepped out for a cigarette. Im an ex-smoker so I know the urge, but clean up so that you can come back and get too work (I know the routine, leave work to be done, chat it up over a smoke with a fellow smoker, start your sticks at slightly different times so that you have to keep company because nobody should burn alone and then get washed up and get back to the remaining work. After timing on my watch for over 45 minutes of waiting with an almost empty "salon" I up and left, no notice or anything, went to Fantastic Sams (FANTASTIC) Salon at Ferry Rd and 313. Even with only 2, (TWO!!!) stylists present I was in and out with a very nice haircut in maybe 15/20 minutes, but it was hard to keep track with the extremely friendly conversation that made the experience all the more enjoyable. $14.50 for a cut, conversation, and slight style made me think about throwing a $5 on top of the $20, Next time I am there I will take that $5 up. Thank you Fantastic Sams, half mile further but the customer service is what will keep them going. Also: Sams smells better and looks cleaner.

Me and my significant other have been going here for about 3 years now, always had a great experience, every stylist in there has done a great job. We have been going specifically to Courtney for about the last 6 months. Shes always very friendly, makes us feel comfortable, and does a fantastic job. She has also colored my girlfriends hair several times, and is never afraid to make experienced suggestions that turn out great!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The woman on the phone told me if I was there before 4pm they could definitely see me. I was there 15 minutes before and drove 30 minutes to get there. The snotty girl up front told me she was leaving early because she had things to do and proceeded to roll her eyes at me. Will never return!
