After having 5 roofing companies come to my home for estimates on replacing my roof,I chose Carranza. They were the 2nd most expensive, but their salesman really got me. So I booked, & had to pay 1/2 upfront& scheduled the service. The salesman said it would be a 1 day job max& that all materials would be cleaned up, no dumpster would be left in in driveway so Id have access to my garage& they would meticulously remove any debris/nails from my property with their "industrial magnet".The project was sched for Thurs July 28th, I got a text from the owner (Minor Carranza) at 6:29am saying my roof has to be rescheduled for the next Monday&he would contact me when he got back to the office. I was not contacted.I texted him Sun asking if my roof was still scheduled for Mon since nobody contacted me.He replied it was still scheduled.Monday 8/1 the crew arrived& started work, since I was told it would be a 1 day job, at 1pm when the crew was gone,I assumed they were coming back.Nobody came back that day, the dumpster was left in my driveway& half my roof was done&half wasnt, there were supplies all over& nails all over the lawn& driveway. It must have been finished Tues, but I was at work.I got an email asking to sched a final walk through& to pay the balance.I scheduled it for Thurs 8/4. On Thur,Minor arrived& my father was also there (a builder of 40 years). My father wanted to go over the initial proposal w/Minor bkz Carranza estimated my roof was 2600 sq feet, & my father measured it by hand himself& it was 2140 sq feet. Minor told my father they use Google Satellite& their measurement was correct. So they both went on the roof& measured the roof by hand,& indeed it was 2140 sq feet.I was being charged extra for 400+ square feet of roofing materials& labor. Also, while on the roof,my father pointed out the chimney flashing wasnt done(which was in the contract)& the gutters were not only left unsecured, but not cleaned& reinstalled. During our walk around the house,my father& my 8 year old daughter found a handful of rusted bent nails in the grass&driveway.I was guaranteed that all nails would be removed with their"industrial rolling magnet".Minor adjusted the balanced owed& apologized to me& my father for the error in measurement, incomplete work& lack of proper clean up &he said hed have his crew out the next day(8/5) to fix everything& text me a picture of the completed work.I never got any communication that the work& clean up was completed.I assumed it was not bkz I was still picking up large amounts of rusted bent nails&staples in my driveway& grass.I was extremely upset about still finding nails since my daughter& her friends play every day in the grass&dont wear shoes.I contacted them again on 8/8 about finding nails in the grass& again on 8/12. Minor said he sent his guy out with the magnet& would send them again if I wanted.I declined bkz I was disgusted with this whole project.I bought a $15 magnet on Amazon& my daughter& I collected approx 200 nails/staples in the grass w/in 15 minutes.I texted a picture to Minor on 8/12 just to inform him.Sept 30th I got a voice mail&email saying there was an outstanding balance on my account&my roof would not be insured until it was paid.I replied to the email: I received a voice mail a few days ago stating that I owed almost $400 and my roof would not be insured until this was paid. I paid the balance in full to Minor himself when the job was done. The final price of the job was not what was on the original contract, it was lowered by Minor after he did the final walk through and saw the job was done poorly, incompletely and the square footage of the roof was grossly overestimated by almost 400 square feet. Please speak with him, correct your records and insure my roof. This continues to be the worst home improvement experience Ive ever had. The email I received back said their measurements were correct& they would not write any money off. Finally Oct 3 I got an email saying I had paid. NIGHTMARE

It was a pleasure dealing with Carranza Remodeling from beginning to end. We had our stucco removed from our small addition on the back of our house and replaced it with siding. We had a few windows, and a back door replaced. We also replaced our entire roof, which is mostly shingle pitched roof and then in one area it is a rubber flat roof. The salesman who came out to the house to look at what we were asking for and give us our estimate was professional, on-time and did not waste our time with incredibly high prices at the end of our conversation. He spent time going over each item we were asking about but it didn’t take a lot of our time. He let us know the company has been around for a number of years, they are growing and have certified workers and the price at the end of wasn’t out of the ballpark of the other estimates we received. The wait time in between signing the contract and the work getting done was about a month and a half and during that time we were in contact the office, specifically the owner, Minor, about our orders. He was thorough, calling a few times with any questions that came up and we appreciated that he was taking the time to make sure everything was ordered correctly. When the work was being completed the workers were professional and kind always saying hello. They didnt disturb our flower bed when doing the roof. They cleaned up our yard every day. Overall Carranza Remodeling delivered what they said they would, good products and service (I especially love our new door and storm door) It was a pleasure doing business with them and we will certainly call them in the future. I love how nice our house looks now!

I just had my roof redone by Carranza along with gutters and a new deck area with a set of stairs down to the yard. Everyone was great and the job was done to perfection. I will be using Carranza in the future for additional home improvements.
