I have really been dreading getting a new roof for the last few years. We had some leaks, so it had to be done. I was not looking forward to spending a lot money and going through a lot of upset. Using Jeff Alte Jr was the smartest thing I did in this process. I called Jeff and he came out and looked at my roof. He was very professional and knowledgeable and he has years of experience. Many of my friends have used him and they all sing his praises. We discussed some of the problem areas and Jeff had the solutions. A few days later, we went to his office in Hackettstown to pick out shingles and gutters. Kathy, the person in the office, was terrific. She was genuinely trying to find the roof that would serve our purposes. No high-pressure. She gave me the addresses of people who have the same roof we were considering, so we could drive by and evaluate. The next parts of the project also went smoothly. The material was dropped off. The roofers showed up at 7.30 the next morning and worked until evening. They cleaned up before they left so everything was neat and orderly for them the next morning. Loved it. Next day, they were here early and completed by late afternoon. There were 6 of them. They were friendly, courteous and very conscientious. They were easy to have around the house. When they left, everything was as it should be. They must have walked around my house with the large handheld magnets a hundred times to insure they got all the nails off the ground. Gutter people showed up the next day. Perfect execution. Very professional. Very courteous. They wanted me to be happy with their work, which I appreciated. Jeff came by for the final inspection and looked over the work. It was important that I was a satisfied customer. This could not have gone any better.

Jeff Alte Jr. Roofing is an astounding company. They chose to partner with the No Roof Left Behind program to give back to their community. My childhood home won Jeff Alte Jr.s first giveaway, receiving a free roof and labor. Jeff and his crew took care of the appropriate paperwork and permits beforehand, had the dumpster delivered in a timely manner and arrived ready and energized to work on the appointed day. Upon tearing off the old roof, Jeff discovered some damaged decking and replaced it quickly. The roof installation was finished fast and beautifully. The team was courteous and respectful, left a clean work site behind, and went the extra mile in so many ways. Its hard to find words to express my gratitude for Jeff and his team. Their work is absolutely phenomenal and worthy of the highest praise. They CARE about what they do, their customers, and their quality. These days, that is hard to find! Thank you Jeff, Kathy and your team!

Jeff came out to inspect my roof within two days. He took pictures and showed me the probable reason for my water leak. Within two days, I had his estimate. My roof had two layers on it and the wood siding around the fireplace chimney was rotted. Jeff is a straight shooter and completely knowledgeable of all aspects of roofing with over 15 years of experience. He has his own crew and dumpster so he doesnt rely on external equipment or personnel except he needed a siding pro to rebuild the siding around the chimney. About two weeks later, he started the job and was completed in three days. It looks GREAT and am confident my leaking roof is a thing of the past. I recommend Jeff Alte Jr. completely.
