I went to this hairdresser a few years ago because they were voted hair colorist of the year in the poconos. Well, I would like to know why. They seemed nice at first, but this changed when they could not obtain the right shade I was looking for. One of the girls lightened my hair and had help from another girl, well one side of my hair broke off. Needless to say I was devastated and never went there again. I have never had this happen in all my years of going to hairdressers. Please stay away from this place if you want to get you hair colored or lightened!!! Sorry I went there and would never want someone else to go through that. It probably took a whole year before my hair looked normal on the one side where it broke off!

Jim is FRIGGIN AWESOME! I came in for the first time with a HACK JOB from a HORRIBLE hair stylists (title given loosely) who totally wrecked my long hair to the point it looked like Freddy had at it! Jim to the time to talk to me and see what we could salvage of hair whilst resulting in some sort of acceptable style. He was WONDERFUL and skilled. He really had to be creative and sheer savvy to make anything of the debauchery on my head. I would highly recommend him for his skills, but his warm, inviting and genuine concern for my satisfaction was comforting and a breath of fresh air.

Absolutely fantastic!!! I recently moved to PA from NJ this past year and was dreading finding a new hair salon. Well needless to say I am ecstatic!!! This is by far the best hair salon I have ever attended. From the service to the atmosphere I give it an A+++. I had Saundra for my hair stylist. She is so kind and really took time to familiarize herself with my hair and self. She listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. My good friend also goes to Donna, another hairstylist, and adores her. Honestly the whole staff seems fabulous. Cant wait to go back :)

I started going to JTH about a year ago, after asking my boss where she got her hair done, since she always looks fabulous. I have very curly hair and have always had a hard time finding someone who knows how to cut and style curly hair well. Jim does a terrific job with the cut, and does the best color Ive ever had. All of the staff are friendly and courteous. Anyone who says theyve had a bad experience here, must have brought it with them. If youre anywhere in the Poconos, this is the place to come for great cuts, great color and great service.

Best place Ive been to period. Taylor was patient, she listened to all my wants and concerns and she worked meticulously for hours making my hair color perfect. I went from a dark brown to a beautiful caramel bayalage. The whole vibe in the salon from the beginning was welcoming and fun! The staff clearly love their job and the customers clearly love the staff. I will be back for all my cuts and color!

Ive been a guest of Jims since before he moved to his current location, for many, many, many years. My experience has been unfailingly of the highest quality and I have recommended the shop on numerous occasions. Ive been very happy with the results! Currently I have my hair cut, colored and styled every four weeks. I may miss other appointments, but not these!!

I have been going to Jim a few months now. I have long, naturally wavy hair that is dry and damaged. I do not like to fuss with my hair but I want it to look healthy. After Jim colored, cut and styled my hair it looked so much healthier. I like how he shows me the best way to blow dry, style and use the correct products (for my hair).
