As I sit here on hold trying for the third time to cancel an appointment, I have to wonder WHY they dont have an answering machine. Im trying to do the responsible thing but theyre making it near impossible (and the "hold message just told me to "have a beautiful summer"-- its February). On hold for over 6 minutes now; Im done. Hopefully you received my e-mail (no response) that I sent explaining that I couldnt honor todays appointment (after finding that there was no way to leave a message.) You seriously need to rethink your phone policy. To be fair, this is the first time Ive been disappointed by Ken and Company and Im surprised that my experience has been so frustrating.

Let me start off by saying I never even got a chance to go here. I originally had a 10am appt for hair and make up for my daughters wedding and Im coming in from NYC. The time of the wedding was pushed back so after calling for 3 days in a row to be accompanied by changing my time, they wouldnt. If I kept my 10am appt Id have to sit and wait around until 4pm just for pictures. So, thanks to Naomi, who recommended E L Salon down the block, after being put on a short hold, E L was completely gracious enough to accompany me by calling one of their regulars and telling them the situation and graciously giving me her time slot and agreeing to come in a bit later.

Ken N Company has been my salon of choice since the early 2000s. I am ALWAYS pleased when i am walking out of this establishment. The women at the front are always pleasant and helpful. I cant speak enough about my hairdresser, AMANDA, she is a superb colorist and remains an expert in her field. I would also like to speak to all the other hair color and stylists, as they are equal to the BEST! Ken has made sure that this salon and spa remains TOP NOTCH! Love you guys and thank you for taking good care of my hair and myself.!

Love this salon. I have been a customer for many years. I love Aveda products and the service is always excellent. Its always a relaxing experience and I am always made to feel like I am the most important person in the salon. I enjoy going to all the stylists and never have to feel guilty about seeing someone different; it is encouraged. If I cannot see my "go to" stylist I just book with someone else. I am confident that no matter who I see I am getting quality service.

Worst experience I have had at a hair salon in my life! The hairstylist completely ruined my hair and kept trying to convince me it looks ok. I left in tears and am walking around in a hat until I can go to another salon to fix the mess Ken and Co have made. All they care about is the cash in the their pockets not the satisfaction of customers. They should be ashamed to be called Aveda. Save yourself the time, stress and money and go somewhere else.

This is an exceptional salon. The front staff is always helpful and scheduling is never a hassle. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I have been going here for several years and have never had a bad experience, the staff is experienced and really works with you to get the look you want. I would recommend Ken & Co to anyone looking for anything from a simple cut to a complex color change, you wont be disappointed.

Im not impressed with this place. Its overpriced, yet the seats and furniture look like its from the place in the mall where you can get a $20 hair cut. I asked for a dirty blonde color, I got light brown. In my opinion, I wasted $150 on my hair which will be showing grays again in 2 weeks time. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff is very nice and friendly.

I have been a customer for at least 15 years. The fact that I drive up from the city to get my hair cut by Bill says a great deal about the quality and consistency of his cuts. The staff is consistently friendly. The shop is clean and comfortable. And of course the prices are right! Totally a "recommend"!

Ken and Company is a lovely, fresh and creative salon. The place is spotless and the environment is very pleasant. Jenny has always given me creative cuts and color. Im in Florida for the winter, but I will call for an appointment as soon as Im back in the area in April!

I am usually the only man in the place when I get my haircut here, but I have been coming here for years. Tammie has always been great! Suggesting things that I never try (man), and does a great job. The head, neck, and shoulder massage is amazing as well.

Friendly. Knowledgeable. I went in wanting to lighten my natural balck hair to a nice Carmel color. They knew exactly what to do without damaging my hair. Love my new color. They always have my favorite products in stock. I refer all my friends there :)

made an appointment same day. was in and out of there in 20 mins and didnt feel rushed. had Samantha, she was a breath of fresh air. prices are decent, my hair cut even came with a mini massage! I think I found my new favorite salon.
