Ten years ago I purchased a car in Pennsylvania and discovered the clutch was bad. With a 1400 mile drive back to Texas I didnt want to chance a break down so I stopped in ASAP to inquire about replacement next day. I was acquainted with the owner, having met him a year or so earlier, while in Etown visiting my mother. When I explained what I needed, and the time constraint, Dwain agreed to tackle the job. He completed the next day as promised and had my son and I on the road. He treated me fairly(didnt jack up the price) and did a really good job; I still have that old car-a 1995 Ford Escort- and the clutch still works fine! Ive flown to PA. to visit mom and purchased other old cars to drive back to Texas and sell in the years since (its more affordable than round trip airfare and a car rental), and have had Dwain and his crew check them over and make any necessary repairs. Always fair. Always honest. These guys are true professionals and a real credit to the the automotive repair industry.

Took my car here a few months ago. Ended up leaving with more things broken than when I went in, over all they did good work but I returned the same day asking who changed the windscreen (to pass inspection), because when they put the trip back in they messed up the track that my automatic seat belts run on (its an older car) they said no problem, when i came back to the shop they just cut the wires to the belt and manually pushed it back to the rest position. I was so appalled i just said "you just cut the wires?" and the response was "oh yeah its no going anywhere now". I was so furious that they just cut the wires than even try and fix it (as if it wasnt worth their time) that I will not return or recommend ASAP Auto to anyone.

This is the kind of place where once you find it, you think twice about moving out of town because youd miss it. These are top notch mechanics who can be trusted to do the job right. These are guys who eat, sleep, and dream about cars, and treat you with respect even when you deserve to be ridiculed for not maintaining your vehicle properly. I have been taking our Jeeps here for years, and only once has there been any issue with the work performed, and even then it was a part failure and not an issue of workmanship. Dwayne corrected the problem and took care of the situation right away. Not sure what the story is on the previous reviewer, but I can assure you it was not a typical situation at ASAP.

I just picked up my car today after I took it to ASAP for an inspection, and a concern I had about my check engine light being on. They completed it in only a day, and when I went to pick up my car the owner took his time to go through my bill with me and explain to me exactly what was wrong and the specific steps they took to correct the problem. He was very patient and friendly as he explained the process to me in terms I would understand. I will definitely be recommending them and be a returning customer!

Highway robbery. I was charged $113 for a thermostat replacement NOT including labor which came out to another $97. A hundred dollars in labor for a quick job. Also the most expensive thermostat you could possibly find wont be more than $70 dollars. They AT LEAST charged me double what the part actually cost. UPDATE: One day later my car holding antifreeze and overheating wasnt even fixed. I still cant drive it. Literally $230 down the drain
