Went here a while ago to get my 2000 Toyota Camry LE v6 fixed. I had a crack in my flex pipe and my catalytic converter had to be replaced. My usual mechanic quoted me about $1000 to get the entire thing done. They said they would have to replace the entire flex pipe and the converter together. I was a little bit shocked at the price so I wanted someone else to look at it and see if I could get it fixed for a cheaper price.I went to Meineke Cockysville for a professional opinion (not that my usual mechanic is not professional) I just thought a car-chain like Meineke would have a cheaper, yet efficient way to fix this problem, and they did. The owner (Jun) was extremely nice and walked me through the process of what they would do in order to help me fix my car without having to replace everything. Instead of replacing the entire flex pipe, Jun told me that he would be able to remove the part that is broken and weld on a new part. He even lifted up my car to show me how they would fix my flex pipe (basically just cutting out the part that is damaged and welding on a new pipe. He said that he has done this before and its half the cost of replacing the entire flex pipe and the car will run perfectly fine. I asked my other mechanic if he can do this, since it would be cheaper and they said that they couldnt cause they did not have the experience and that they dont recommend it to most customers. But I decided to take a gamble and go the cheap route instead of replacing the entire pipe (which I wouldve normally done) After the work was done the bill came to be $400 (labor and parts included) Thats $600 cheaper than what my other mechanic quoted! And my car ran perfectly fine and Ive had no other problems since. The service here was great and they were able to get my car fixed in 2 days, which wasnt a major inconvenience to me. I then brought my dads 2005 Toyota 4runner here just this past weekend for Jun and his team to work on. My dad needed to get a Differential Service, he need to get his transmission fluid chenaged, he needed a new battery and a new filter and new transfer case fluid (not sure what this is but Toyota said we needed it). Toyota quoted me for $469. After everything was done I paid $300 for everything. Jun has saved me a lot of money and time and frustration. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good mechanic.

I am a mechanic by trade, so rarely take my vehicles for service, but needed work done that required a pipe bender which I do not have access to. The repair needed done was no problem for a good exhaust guy, but I was having a terrible time finding someone to do it. I had to meet a friend off York road and had time to kill, so I stopped into a random exhaust shop to ask about the work. Jun was at the front counter. I asked him about doing the job and he came right outside to look and told me making the repair would be no problem. We went inside and I scheduled an appointment. The morning of the appointment, I was having some problems and not able to make it on time. I called the shop and got no answer. I called many times over the day with no answer. Finally at about 1:30 I got through and asked if I could still come in. The man that answered did not identify himself, or I forgot that he did, but he told me I could still come. I live well over an hour away from the shop, so I left quickly. When I got there I found the parking lot jammed full of vehicles and people in the waiting room. Jun was at the counter and asked why I was so late and that he probably couldnt help me today. I explained that I had been calling without answer. He explained to me that the phones were not working most of the day and just came online again. I told him I had called and was told to come in. Apparently, the man I talked to thought I wanted to drop my truck off. Jun moved his whole schedule around and I was fixed, paid and driving away within an hour and a half! Being in the business, I know full well that I was the pain in the neck customer of the day and those guys still took awesome care of me. The initials of the tech that did the work are DEJ. He did a very professional job repairing the flange on my Y-Pipe. While I was in the waiting room I was watching and listening to Jun conduct business. Someone who is in-the-know such as myself can recognize skill or deficiency in our peers with ease. Jun is a very knowledgeable mechanic and conducts extremely honest business. I would not hesitate to take anything to him whether it be exhaust work, or a complicated engine management system problem. Trust that these guys will take care of you!

I usually dont write reviews but after reading the reviews of a few disgruntled customers and seeing that not one satisfied customer took the time to leave a review of this Meineke Cockeysville and of owner, Jun Pak, I’d thought I give everyone my review. I was first recommended to Meineke Cockeysville in 2009 by a friend who had been going for years. I had a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST that needed a brake job and new tires. When I first bought the car, the previous owner had put in slotted brembo rotors and when it was time to get them replaced, I wasn’t looking to spend that much money considering I was tight on money and needed several things done on the car. Jun explained to me that it wasn’t necessary to get the same slotted brembo rotors unless I planned to take my car down to the track for racing purposes. I took his word and was very satisfied with their work. At the same time, he changed and balanced my tires for me since I was taking my old summer tires off and switching them to all season tires. After my first experience with Jun, I stopped going to my mechanic who was my friend and charging me more than Jun. Meineke Cockeysville completed several more jobs on my car over the next 2 years given the age of the car and the fact that it was hooked up for racing and not a daily driver which I had been using it for. I trusted Jun from little to big fixes with my car. Some of the bigger jobs I can recall today are the replacement of my slave cylinder and clutch. With every job, we discussed the amount of money I would be spending and given my situation and to my surprise, he was always willing to work with me. I never felt like he overcharged me for any work. And he would even tell me that I could price around at other shops to be sure that he was giving me the best deal before I get the job done. And even to this day with my new car, a used 2005 BMW, I am still going to Jun/Meineke Cockeysville for all my car care. I have recommended multiple friends here and they have been very pleased with his prices and work. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
