This place always has a long wait. When I have to go here, I always allot at least 30 minutes. Additionally, I have gotten there around 4:35pm and found the door locked already. A customer let me in and the post master came out yelling at me. Not only is this post office bad with closing early and having rude attendants, our elderly mailman has numerous times left our mail out in the driveway, thrown on our front porch, etc - never mind that we have a mailbox. Today, I found a package outside with a single piece of mail blown off to the side. What was this piece of mail? My information for my RN license renewal - you know, nothing important or anything (pure sarcasm). At this point Im furious. We have complained numerous times and have never heard a single response back. This office needs to raise its standards if it wants to compete with FedEx and UPS. It also needs to clean house and get rid of the people who suck at their job (carriers and on site workers). Also, I would rather drive to the Macungie post office - as in go out of my way - than deal with the shenanigans at this one.
