Dear Firestone: I dropped off my car about 9am and asked Andrew how long it would take to check out the shimmy in the front wheels. He avoided my question, so I asked again "one hour?" he just said "longer". Then I asked how long. He avoided my question again, so I said "4 hours?" He only answered, "not that long". I said "should I come back tomorrow/" to which he replied, "Today is the day". So I said OK I will wait down the street at the library for your call. 5 hours later and I received no calls, so I walked back from the library only to find nothing at all had been done to my car. It was not looked at by anyone, no phone call was made, nothing at all was done. Its like once I left the waiting room, my paperwork and keys were just put out of the way while everyone else after me was taken care of. So I took my keys and left. It is unacceptable to be treated with this lack of communication in the beginning and then completely blown off as a customer for 5 hours. There are plenty of auto shops around this town for my 4 cars, I guess I have to start looking for a new one. Dan and Dan have always given me good service, but Andrew gave the attitude that he could care less about me and my car.

I have been going to this shop on and off for a long time and usually leave satisfied with tire work but aggravated with the experience. I now only go for very simple tire related jobs, new tires when on sale, balancing, and rotations mostly because they take walk-ins before 7:00 am. I sometimes opt for convenience and decide to put up with the "courtesy checks" and "up-sells". Beware of the classic "cabin filter" up-sell. This morning I got, "I see you just had your car inspected, why didnt your mechanic rotate your tires while it was on the rack? We do that automatically." I also asked what they charge for mounting and balancing tires. I got, "Are they used? Did you buy them here? We dont mount used tires." I guess they dont mount snow tires for customers in the winter. I bet they do. I dont want questions and comments, just service. If you want to leave scratching your head, go to Firestone in Exton.

I own a well maintained 2008 Honda and the last few times I have gone there for an oil change, they try to tell me something is wrong with my car. This time they told me that my tires were wearing on the edges and I needed a $200 alignment. They guy was even presumptuous enough to put this on my bill... like I was going to do it, just because he said I needed it and because he put it on my bill. I immediately instructed him to remove it from my bill and just finish the oil change as I had originally requested. The best part is that I had an alignment a few months ago and when I walked out to my car to check the tires, they were fine. No abnormal wear on the edges. After this experience, I will not go to them for any more automobile work.

Having some background in cars, the price point was on the mark, perhaps even a little lower than a private shop. I read a few reviews citing that people got work done cheaper, but generally thats due cheaper off brand parts being used and not doing what is fully recommended which ultimately leads to bigger problems. Dan and the other guys were very helpful, I wasnt looking to spend the amount I did, and part of that was due to my tires no longer made which of course is out of their control, I cant say I didnt get a good price on all the work I had done, in fact they worked to get me a better deal on things.

You cannot trust them. I went in to get the break pads done, i called to get quote and I got the quote for 4 new pads at $320. I went in and dropped the car and the actual was revised to $980. Now the pads were going to cost more and everything else was more expensive then before. I was able to get great service and everything done at a local mechanic in west chester for under 400. BTW, their attitude is worst, their response to any question is thats how it is, take it or leave it. Im very angry at them for wasting my weekend but I also hope I can save couple people from going to them.

I had used this facility for a number of years for any service I cannot do myself. They are expensive but quick. The technicians are friendly and efficient. Unfortunately I no longer use them and will not recommend them anymore. On 12/21/13, the manager got belligerent with my wife and me when I dropped off a truck for service; my wife was there to pick me up. The issue was that we momentarily double parked (parking is often limited here). We left; with us the 5 vehicles in our household, as well as those of friends whom I have steered here in the past.

I have been using the shop for 15 years without any complaints. They have serviced many things for me (spark plugs, engine gaskets, fluid flushes, brakes, tires, inspection, alignments, etc...) I like Andrew and the team a lot. Everyone treats us well and Ive recommended the shop to just about everyone else (I have a least 4-5 friends that agree and get work done here, too). Just yesterday I had brakes and rotors put on our MB GLK, very happy with the service.

I left work on a blistering hot day, start having engine troublw, check engine light started flashing. Stress started flaring. Pulled into firestone. Ultra friendly staff, effecient mechanics. Got me out of there in about an hour. Found me a discount off my original price as well. Car is running better than before. Thanks fellas.

Did a wheel alignment, they overlooked a defect in suspension. After the alignment the ABS light went on (a simple action was needed to prevent, they didnt do it). 2 months later I have to deal with suspension repair plus (surprisingly) realignment. Not satisfied.

I will never bring my car here again. They quoted me $2,000 to fix my car whereas another mechanic said $1,000. They use tie rods and ball joints as their cash cow. Do not trust them. Get the opinion of a real professional mechanic, not these dishonest mechanics.

Ive been coming here for a few years now for tires and I am always impressed with theyre quality of service. Im always blown away with how fast the technicians are. And the icing on the cake is the prices are the best youll be able to find I the area.
