Beware of people that work at the shop writing reviews first and foremost. This is the second time and last time Ive had unacceptable service at this shop. The first time, they tried to rip me off on a new battery. You are supposed to get a $50 credit for returning your old battery and instead, they take that, dont say anything, and say "well dispose of the battery for free," and steal your money, then furthermore, jack up the retail price of the battery. The second and worst time, Don, the owner refused to replace things they broke with the car while in his shop. I brought my car to the shop for an electrical issue and not only could they not fix the problem, but they lost the bolt to hold down my battery and they blew out one of my headlights and one of my brakelights and simply refused to take responsilbility for it. Don said it was a "coincidence" that they were messing with the electric system and multiple bulbs blew out. Its borderline funny non the less insulting. Worst shop I have ever dealt with. I fealt compelled to warn my fellow man of this joke of a repair shop. Beware.

I cant even believe that scam artists like this are in business. They told me I had a blown head gasket and and a warped head and charged me over a thousand dollars to change it out. I requested to have all the old parts returned to me. When I showed the old parts to multiple other mechanics they told me there was nothing wrong with the old head and it was questionable if there was even anything wrong with the gasket. Here is the icing on the cake, when they reinstalled the spark plugs they did it incorrectly and used the wrong plugs. Parts of one of the plugs broke off inside the engine and messed up one of the cylinder walls, there is now very little compression in that cylinder. Lionville Car Care refused to do ANYTHING about either issue. I am considering suing them. STAY AWAY.

Have been using Lionville Car Care for years and received excellent service. We are very satisfied. They have always been honest and even NOT charged us when the issue was transmission related. At that point they referred us to a specialist. They take the time to explain repairs and talk to you in terms that are understandable. Having them as mechanics brings peace of mind! (On the 2 bad reviews - hmmm - coincidence that they have the same date? Wonder if this was perhaps ONE angry unreasonable person.)

I have been coming here for about 3 years now. Everyone is extremely nice and they explain things throughly. Ive been to other places were they talk to me different because I am a girl and they act like I dont know anything. I live with my 80 year old grandmother who needed her car inspected but the car wouldnt start. She called them up and theyve sent guys out to our house numerous times to jump her car and take it with them to be fixed. They have our business for years to come!
