I’d rate them lower than "poor - fair" if I could. I brought my car to this shop because of a positive review on another site that I mistakenly thought was real. 1st they forgot to look at my car when they said they would, then acted like they were doing me a favor to give me an estimate on the repair I requested. 2nd when they called the next day, they gave me a high estimate $543.62 to replace power steering hose (289 parts 254 labor). I said thanks but no thanks, it’s an old beat-up car and I’m not looking to sink that much money into it. 1996 Isuzu Trooper - I’ll drive it, sell it, junk it - the vehicle is not worth much. To be fair, I offered to pay for their diagnostic time. Although when I dropped it off, I told them what I thought was wrong. Greg called me back a few minutes later to tell me they had 2 hours into it but he would “do me a favor” and only charge me for 1. I asked him what the H#!! would take them 2 hours to diagnose a leaky power steering hose that I told them about up front? He said only 10 minutes was spent on the car, the other time was spent on the phone and internet researching the parts. I got off the phone googled the parts and within 4 minutes found them for $53.61 including shipping. I don’t mind paying service providers a fair amount for their time and talents, but this is ridiculous. I’ll never take my car here again. It’s places like this that give the industry a bad reputation.

I took my f650 to these guys for a few small issues and an inspection. I decided to use River Drive after several bad experiences with another local heavy truck shop and Im now wondering why I havent gone sooner. The service writer, John, was very knowledgeable, friendly, honest and down to earth. He offered honest answers to any question asked and even supplied friendly banter while waiting at The counter. The work was performed in a timely manner and we were updated regularly on the progress of the repairs. I highly recommend this shop to anyone local with any kind of repairs from light duty trucks and cars up thru heavy duty trucks. Great shop, great people, amazing service!

the absolute RUDEST CROOKS EVER! they have a thing with the police to tow cars and completely rape you to get it back. They refused to negotiate my $395 tow bill. (towed only 2 miles) then refused to inform me of the condition of my vehicle because "it was parked outside.." and to make their disgusting business ways any more gross, when I got there to pick up my truck they were sooo rude, looked up at me and then continued to all shoot the breeze behind the counter for a few mins. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY DESERVE NEGATIVE STARS ON THERE REVIEW...

This shop has been so helpful. They are directly down the street from my office and on a whim, one of the girls went to them to fix a hole in her tire. Since then, everyone in our office has used them and none of us have had issues. As a woman, I feel that many shops take advantage of me and dont take the time to explain the process, cost and my options. John at River Drive, ALWAYS makes sure I understand what is going on and tells me to call him if I ever have any questions. On top of all of that, they are very reasonably priced!

I have a 38 rv pulling a 20 car hauler trailer on my way to AZ. I developed an engine oil leak and the alternator wasnt charging. I called and talked with Shane he said they were really busy but if I could get to there shop they would try and work it in later in the day or next am. I arrived 1hr later and they had a tech diagnosing the problems within 30 min. 3 hours later they had me on the road again. A new alternator and new oil filter installed. A BIG thank you to, Shane, John and Adam.

Do not take your vehicle to this Gyp Joint, Evidently they need the Pa, State Police to bring them work. My Daughter had a Flat Tire and was towed here and they put her spare on, Charged her 100.$ for tow and change the tire. Okay it is what it is until she is driving down front st and clanging and banging going on she stops and looks at the wheel and all the lugnuts are loose, What the F#&% this Clown Stailey has run a Gyp joint since the 60,s .

Worst shop we have ever been to. Unproffessional, unpleasant, RIPOFF! After 4 hours of doing diagnostics, when I called them, mechanic John, told me the truck is nice and warm in their shop and they are scratching its belly, when I asked them what they did in 4 hours he told me they had lunch and seems like we are paying his lunch 95$ per hour. Avoid them in wide circles by all means!

Took my 2001 Volkswagen Eurovan for a simple front end alignment. The quote was for $125-$180 plus any "additional" parts that may be needed. Got the bill and it was $572. No extra parts. Just labor. No phone call to give me a heads up that it would be more than three times the quoted price. If I could give them a no star rating, I would. Avoid these crooks at all cost.

LOVE this place , honest people, good mechanics. Had my semi truck in the shop and very happy with the job theyve did. Shane, always helpful , and the rest. There is a problem with John at the front desk... You really dont know when hes joking or hes serious. So watch out , tricky guy but in a good way. He has a really good sense of humor. Thanks guys

We used River Drive Service Center they quoted us very low price and then they changed us twice as much. Well never use their service again. If you dont want to get ripped off, dont use their service. They are also very rude and unpleasant people.

Thanks. These guys helped me out in a bind. My reefer quit working with a load of ice cream. They couldnt get parts til morning so jumped my starter to save the load. NO CHARGE. I COULDNT BELIEVE IT
