I am paying over a $100 a year and the service window does not provide service to box holders. Most other Post Offices do. That window is suppose to support Box holders. Before the operation of the windows open to the public. No one at that location does their job. Slow service lines our the door. I was told that I had to come back at the hours of operation to get my mail. Which means stand in line like everyone else and they are Not paying for a Box there. I will NOT renew my Box at that location. I am not paying the government my monies to receive the same service as any one walking in the PO. My money I work for is to pay for the service I get. I have read many reviews here. And I am glad people take the time to do so. One day I was in those lines. And I watch the clerk make sure that they ask everyone to do the survey. As I walked out I said it loud enough for everyone in line to encourage them to reply to the survey to tell about the poor service and the government workers that Dont Do Their Jobs

if could give negative stars I would, online it says store hours for Saturday 9-3 and I got there at 2:01 with the lady locking the door saying threw the door they close at 2. I called the office "still outside" 2 times the first time saying the voicemail was full the second time the lady picked up saying they cant let anyone in after closing.asking if I can come in really quick and sign for my package and they said no "only like 2:03 at this point". she said she couldnt even meet me at the door with the thing I have a life and not time to come all the way back to KOP to get it. learn some customer service 5 minutes at most for a signature wont kill you. its good to know my taxes are going to a "great place"

Called several times throughout the day, no one answered my calls and the voicemail only says that its memory is full. Clearly no one is paying attention to the phone. Ive gone in to retreive packages from them several times ans each time they have been rude, as if me just being there to retreive my mail was a pain in the neck for them. A package of mine was never delievered to me because the sender forgot to put my apartment number on it, yet my phone number was included in the package information. I never even recieved a call to know what was happening with my package, they just sent it back to the sender so they were forced to deal with it instead. Very unsatisfied.

I have been going to this branch 3 or 4 times per week for the past year. I understand that this is a government run business so my expectations are not for 5 star service...HOWEVER...I have not had one positive interaction or experience with any of the employees. Any questions I have asked (especially about the passport office) are answered in a long winded wind about manner, that only left me with additional unanswered questions. I seriously believe that customer training is needed; and with this in mind the Post Office is to blame for lack of training. To end on a positive note, they have a decent assortment of cards, and the parking is ample.

its a shame how all these people write these long negative reviews here. I am from Philly but work in KOP, and you deal with bad/rude customer service in every post office you go to in Philly so eventually you get use to it. But to sit here and write a bad review for these employees is wrong very wrong (not to mention my experience of two different complicated things i had to send, was great and so helpful from them) . I guess living in rich towns everything needs to be handed to you and cant deal with following simple steps those people working there ask you to do. Id give them more starts they are excellent employees from my experience.

I paid $7.10 for a package that weighed 13 oz to get delivered in 2 days. The package arrived at the Locust Grove, VA PO this morning but I received a test that it will sit in the PO until tomorrow. I needed that package to get delivered on 2/1/17, which is what I paid for. The PO is covered by the wording EXPECTED delivery. A total rip off. I could have paid under $5 for it to get there in 3 days instead of paying $7.10 to get there in 3 days. I told the clerk I needed this package to arrive by Wednesday, 2/1/17.

Very Rude and arrogant staff...I was late for my babys passport appointment by 10 mins and they didnt take my application. Thats okay but lady in charge was very rude in denying and then I waited there 20-25 mins to get appointment for next day which she could have given me in few secs. Her behavior was as if she was going to do it for free. No wonder why USPS is going into loss and eating tax payers money. Do not deserve any Rating.

Horrible customer service! The short haired lady demanded we get back in line behind the lady... who was behind us because we were at the counter writing the address. She claimed that we werent finished and not ready to be taken care of. She was also talking to us like were in first grade- very condescending. Save yourselves time and drive to the next nearest post office who will give you the respect you deserve.

The woman wouldnt let me buy stamps because my credit card said "see ID" on the back instead of being signed. I gave her my ID and she said the card has to be signed, its "post office policy"... Wouldnt it be a lot easier for someone to forge your signature when using your credit card than to forge a drivers license??? Completely idiotic! And she was completely rude to boot.

Every time I have gone (2-3x/mo), I have seen how well the employees handle the many rude or anxious customers or ones that dont want to follow the employees instructions. When it is super busy (like at Christmas), I have never seen them get rattled and often they have to calm the customers down. If they ever did get short with someone, I couldnt blame them.

Horrible service. I have brought packages to this post office before and they refuse to accept the package because they say the weight is not correct. I bring the package down the road to Valley Forge post office as is and they ship without any issues. Staff always comes off as rude, as if theyre annoyed customers are in their store.

The google maps result quotes an outdated superpages review claiming there is a notary at this post office. There isnt. Wasted my lunchbreak, didnt eat, didnt get my document notarized, this all could have been avoided if the employees there had simply answered the phone when I called before I came in. Thanks Google, thanks USPS.

Just returned from taking an envelope to the post office which had been folded and stuffed into my mail box even though the package said "Please Do Not Bend." I was rather upset by this, but Karen, who I was fortunate enough to talk with, was so kind and helpful that it made me feel better. Kudos to Karen! She is great!!
