DO NOT bring your tuner/Subaru to these guys, specifically to the owners son, Tyler. My experience was enough to make me go out of my way to express just how absurd it all was. I had a simple clutch replacement done there last April based on some recommendations of other local Subaru enthusiasts. I figured if he was working on high HP cars, a clutch install would be a simple job. WRONG. Firstly, communication was terrible. But thats another story. There were a a few red flags I should have noticed along the way. When doing the replacement, he said he would simply "rough up the flywheel since you dont need to replace it". WRONG. Its standard practice to either resurface or replace the flywheel with any new clutch install, per Subaru instructions. Any garage Ive talked to has confirmed this with me. Within the 1000 mile break-in period, I had some clutch slippage (red flag). I call him up, and he says "oh yeah thats normal". Nope, its definitely not. Here I am, a year later, and Ive been driving a car with a 1st gear shudder so violent I thought my engine was gonna come off the engine mounts. I called him up (understandably its a year later) and Im told I have a bad transmission, entirely denying responsibility that his shoddy installation could have possibly at all been related to this violent shuddering. Listen, I know what a bad transmission would feel like. And I know now after having a new clutch job done properly, my car drives smooth as butter again, as it should. Ive had the car looked over by a real Subaru technician and was informed the flywheel was covered with heat/stress cracks as a result of an improper surface between the new clutch and old flywheel, causing me to spend over another $1000 a year later to get the job done the right way. If you care about your car, take it to someone who also cares about your car. I wouldnt take my car here again if it was simply to have my tires filled with air. I cannot speak for his father and presumably the owner of the company, but I was ripped off over $1000 for what I presumed would have been a simple install. Absolutely unacceptable, and I will make sure others are aware of my experience here.

Took my car in for a simple oil change and tire rotation and they were busy and decided to still help me out which I am thankful of but everything went down hill after that! I was greeted by a little kid behind the desk while his mother was talking to me from behind a wall (I understand wanting to run a family business but have some respect), I advised them that I brought my own oil and filter and they listed it on the repair order for the technician to see. After about 1 hour of me sitting in the waiting room I notice about 2 technicians working on my car and 1 was carrying a jug of bulk oil and getting ready to fill my engine with it (I advised I had my own stuff on the seat) so I tell one of the employees at the desk and she goes and talks to the technician and comes back to me and says "sorry... He will take care of it." We are now at the 2 hour mark and I just missed a doctors appointment and my car is still not done! (Cant blame the for me missing the appt. But the time frame is unacceptable) Another 15 minutes go by and finally I get my keys back and walk to my car and notice oil and grease marks all over my car and oil spilled on my hood and bumper and on the engine and upon further inspection the oil level was over filled and the technician never installed the oil filter I provided but also decided to keep it! I walk back in and explain whats going on and wait another 30 minutes for another technician to fix the simple task that the other couldnt do! This is an untrustworthy, very unproffesionaly ran repair shop with the potential to deliver a great service and experience if they stepped it up. Unfortunately I can not have my vehicle serviced at a place where my products are being kept and never installed on my vehicle as asked and my vehicle to have my vehicle returned in worse comdition then when I brought it in. Now I am left wondering do I really have my full synthetic oil in my car that I need for the type of driving I do? Or did I just waste my money due to a shady technician?

This place is atrocious, top to bottom. Do yourself a favor and read the recent reviews that I did not have the luxury of considering. I suspected I knew the nature of my car issue, but I didnt have time to take care of it myself due to some tricky travel constraints. Due to proximity, I called for their availability and they obliged. Took the car in and was slyly pumped with a $80 charge just to "hook the car up to the computer." Ok, I understand a garage has to make money, but given my car has an onboard computer that was showing no error messages (not to mention my partial understanding of what was causing the issue), I politely said "no, thanks” to that. This prompted the receptionist to call for a head tech who sarcastically greeted me with "So this is the guy who wants a job." I simply wanted to opportunity to explain the issue with a mechanic face-to-face. His time is money, I get that, too. But two sentences into my explanation, he coldly cut me off with "So what exactly do you want me to do?" I explained what I suspected and why I couldnt handle it myself. Another tech commented it sounded like something else and kindly asked if I drive it with him so he could experience it. One short but expensive drive later, he was sure he knew what would fix everything. 2 hours later, I drove off much poorer with nothing fixed. I had some questions about wording on the bill, so I called the receptionist and told her the issue persisted. She said "ok." I asked if they had looked at what I requested. The invoice only said "customer requests we..." not that they actually did. She put me on hold to check with a tech, came back, and said, "Yes, we replaced the filter." That wasnt what we discussed. All I could do was silently weep in frustration. I later replaced a $40 part I suspected was the issue and fixed it myself. 1 star because I cant do 0.

Do not waste your time or money! My friend introduced me to this place a few years ago, back when it was a tiny place on a hill off a back street that youd never find unless someone told you how to get there. I took my wife and I vehicles there a couple times and they did good work for a great price. I started telling everyone I knew to go there because I finally found a car place in Lancaster I liked. However, once they moved to the new "bigger and better" location, the service dropped off the edge of a cliff! Weve put thousands od dollars into vehicles, that still never ended up being fixed. My in-laws took their vehicles there for repairs and got ridiculously overcharged and said theyre never goin back again, my dad took his car there, everything it took longer than they said it would to "be fixed," and each time it still had the same problem. Each, they "knew what would fix it." Finally after almost 4000 he just gave up. This was after very poor customer service, talking down to us like were idiots, basically calling us liars for referring back to things that they told us and saying they never did. It ended up with them telling us if we didnt like their service, ro take our business elsewhere, which is what we plan on doing and recommend you do the same! If you do go, make sure its Moe that works on your vehicle, I wouldnt trust anyone else to touch mine.
