Joe was the MOST helpful customer service person Ive dealt with in a very long time! While looking for rental moving trucks literally every single person I called was short and rude, all I heard was "dont have any trucks" then the phone clicked as they hung up before I was even able to get one word in. This man was so generous and helpful that despite not having any trucks available, he searched all nearby locations until he was able to find one. In the future if I need any rental vehicles this will absolutely be the FIRST PLACE I CALL! Joe thank you so much!!! If I could give a 6 star rating I would, Id recommend this place and their wonderful customer service to anybody.

Three cheers for "DAK Self Storage". It is the perfect solution for us empty-nesters who down sized from a big four bedroom home to a large two bedroom apartment. Until we retire and relocate south, we needed to find a clean,dry,secure location for some of our household items. After looking at several locations in Berks County, we discovered DAK in Leesport. Joe was great in helping us get the right size unit for all of our belongings. We also liked the discount we received whenyou pay for six months. In this economy, every litle bit helps. So if you are looking for a great climate controlled storage facility, give Joe a call. Youll be happy you did!

Satisfied customer Don Stewart : DAK is a first rate storage facility. We have been renting a storage unit now for three years and have never had a problem with our unit. The property is kept in good order and in the winter the facility is always free of snow and accessible. The owners are always available whenever you need them. We have had no problems getting ahold of someone at any time. The prices are great. All around, this is an excellent and secure facility to store your personal property. I highly recommend DAK to all of my friends in the area.

I used their services recently and I am extremely satisfied, they are extremely helpful! Excellent customer service, I got lost on the way there and they called me from their home and he was able to help me get there to take back the truck we rented, they were very understandable and such a pleasure to talk. Definitely will be going here when I need services like these. Oh and also I was so impressed on how well kept the place looks, very clean and organized! Thats always a plus!

Wendy - Feb. 20, 2012 - Dak Self Storage is a wonderful storage facility. The rates are very fair and the facility is very neat and clean. It is easy to find and access. The management is terrific. You can always get in touch with someone and theyre always willing to help. I have referred this storage facility and will continue to do so. The facility is well lit. I love the monthly reminder of when my payment is due and the ability to pay for my unit online.

My wife and I were more than satisfied with the service DAK provided for us. The owners were always accessible, pleasant and eager to serve. The units are clean, the facility is well maintained, adequately secure and well lit at night. The facility was easily accessible from RT61. The rates were the best in the area. The owners are fair and trustworthy and operate a respectable business. I have recommended DAK to some friends who now also lease there.

Horrified to discover after a visit to our storage unit this evening (an indoor, climate controlled one) that the place is MOUSE INFESTED and there was mouse crap ALL OVER EVERYTHING inside our unit. We certainly didnt bring mice there and didnt store important things there to be chewed and crapped on by mice. It wasnt just our unit either because there was mouse crap swept to the sides of the hallways as well. Absolutely FURIOUS about this.

I went to DAK after another local storage facility raised their rates online in one day. I was mainly going to the other place because they offered 24/7 access to your storage unit and DAKs did not. After meeting with Joe, he was very accomodating, both in his price and in allowing me access to my storage unit when it fit in my schedule. I would definitely recommend DAK storage to anybody. My wife called all the locations in the area to find the best price. My concern was about the safety and security of the valuable belongings we were going to store. DAK Self Storage had both price and service which others couldn’t match. We started with 1 unit and now have 2 units. The owner is straightforward and upfront with the terms of the contract. Every time we are at the location it is clean and well lit at night.

Best storage facility in PA! We called Joe and he was able to meet us to see the units right away. Joe is very friendly and professional. The units look brand new and everything is so clean. The security at DAK is very good and I feel safer storing my items at DAK then at my own house!!! Will recommend DAK to everyone I know. I used DAK about 8 Years ago and had an awesome experience. I just recently had to get a storage again and I immediately decided to go back to DAK. The owner is extremely pleasant to deal with and gets back to you in a timely manner. He is willing to help you in any way he can. Owner was very helpful and friendly! He always took the time to get me the right moving vehicle. I rented 4 times on different dates, if he didnt have what I needed, he would find it and have it asap. He was a tremendous help during this difficult time in my life. I will definitely tell everyone I know, to expect great service from this rental facility. He made moving less stressful!

What a nightmare!! Mice were in my outside unit and Joe (owner) knew about it and didnt take care of it. Mice droppings were all over my boxes. There was a water leak in the inside units and the floors are covered in dirt. I ended my contract on 05/18/07 and as of 06/23/07 I still have not recieved my deposit of $175.00. I called Joe twice and the second time he hung up on me.

Just left after 1 year because we got a garage and no longer need storage. Throughout our stay there though, we had 2 billing issues which were our fault and were handled courteously and professionally by Joe and his wife. The termination process was simple, no pressure, just a smile and a handshake. If only all businesses were run in this manner.
