***Just moved out of a unit, and even though I have pictures of it empty and without the lock (location and time/date stamped) and "checked out" prior to the 1st, I had to contact the district manager, who took care of getting it closed out but I still had a $2.50 remaining balance...really? I moved out but local rep in the office didnt check me out and caused this frustration. Honestly, do yourself a favor and get a place elsewhere because it isnt worth the frustrations. Air cond/heat is barely there, might as well not call it climate controlled. ** Oh, and yes, another rate increase.....they just keep coming after you sign on - those teaser rates dont last.....**at least you cannot say I didnt tell you so.....if not right away, you will figure it out soon enough. This place continues to raise your rates, even though you "lock in" a special rate on the rare times there are such rates. The front gate hasnt worked for months, and when it did, it was often out of service for weeks to months. A high priced place like this is full of excuses and no answers. They explain it like it is a big decision on how theyll pay for the gate to get replaced or repaired, when in fact that is why Im paying rent faithfully, for years now, and no such luck on getting this resolved. If I tried to tell them I had a hard time coming up with the months rent, Im sure they wouldnt listen or care. When they tell me how they have a hard time getting the gate fixed, im supposed to cry and feel bad for them? The sheds are good, and they fit the need. However, the elevators are often in questionable condition, and the "climate controlled" really means they arent outside but when you find it is 85 in the summer and 50 in the winter, it isnt exactly how Id consider it climate controlled. Once summer is over, I will be moving out of here to another place that is more reasonably priced and actually has a working gate. For the money they charge, there should not be these kind of open ended long term issues with no resolve. Ive hesitated writing a review, to give them time to straighten up their messes, but nothing has changed in literally years.

In 38 years of retail business mngmnt., I have seen an extensive range of dedication and skill level in my employees. There are amazing examples on either end of the spectrum, from the employee who referred to someone as "just a customer" to those who were as good or better than me. Bear in mind that most of these workers were making minimum wage or just slightly above. There is no truer gauge of a persons value to a company than the desire to do their best regardless of their pay rate. Recently, my wife, my son, and I had the distinct pleasure of interacting with Charrie at your Glen Mills, PA location. All the ready superlatives apply such as extremely courteous, knowledgeable, competent and professional. In addition, we all had a positive reaction that is not as easy to describe. She has an innate quality of spirit that sets her apart from most people. She ranks among the highest. You are very lucky to have her in your employ.

This place is the worst. When I went and rented a place - they charged me for two. They took the funds of my credit card for 2 units and refused to refund. Despite my going in there about 10 times and talking to two different District managers who promised to look into it but never did. The first district manager they told me they fired because of this type of none response. The second just never got back to me. Both gave me attitude. Its infuriating. I finally gave up and never got refunded for the 2nd unit which I NEVER used. I cleared my stuff out of the other unit and am done with them. My choice now is to sue them in small claims or waste another 10 hours of my life trying to get paid back. DONT RENT HERE. They actually called and asked that I write a review. Haha. What a joke.

We went here to rent a storage unit temporarily. When we arrived, we were greeted by SBa. He was very pleasant in his greeting. As we went on he asked us questions to determine what size storage unit we would need. We originally thought we would need a 5×5 but he believed that we needed a 5×10. He showed us the 5×5 and he was correct, we did need a 5×10. After we chose the unit, we returned to the office to fill out the required papers, the most boring part of the process. But he was very pleasant and communicative throughout that it wasnt even boring. So all in all, this public storage location was a very positive experience, and if we ever need to store anything again, it will be here.

Charrie is AWESOME!! When I went in to rent from Charrie there was a man there working on the computer system. She called another person, at a different location, to set up my account. She was kind and professional to her fellow employee as she was setting up my account. She was bragging on the man, TO HIS FACE, how much she valued his professional service and the great job he did, fixing her system - THIS IS RARE!!! It is rare to find someone who is kind, professional and goes "out-of-her-way" to give you AWESOME customer service!!! She made my day - thank you Charrie!!

Public storage is a good self service storage place that is security for your storage needs. The nice young lady at the facility takes her time to get you through the first part of the rental phrase with ease. She is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about the facility. And once you finish that, you are on your way to your rental experience. This one is a winner, if you dont believe me, check it out yourself. I think you will agree.

I had a super experience with this Public Storage. The previous management was great, and the new management is terrific! Lynn was so helpful, kind and has a great sense of humor. She was really there for me when I phoned, after my handbag was stolen, while on vacation. She walked me through the online site and remotely fixed everything for me. Lynn made a difficult time easy peasy! Thanks again Lynn, I appreciate you and Public Storage.

Charrie is truly a professional. She helped us in our time of need and the staff here is the best. The facility is clean, well-lit, and secure. Our experience was very good and we would recommend this place to anyone. Charrie answered all questions and made us feel welcome. 5 stars for staff and facility. Ive been renting for 2 years. Andrea is very helpful & knowledgeable. My only complaint is cost. 7/1/14 will be my 4th increase in 2 years. Called Customer Service but they would only delay the increase for 3 mos. I need long term storage. Online found same size units, clean, safe w/ climate control for $560 less yr. I really thought a long-term, good pay tenant was worth keeping ... but I was wrong.
