Horrendous. We have water damage in our unit that we have yet to speak with anyone about after months of calling. The property manager asked my husband to BUY a tarp from them or have him PAY to move our things to another unit with no water issues. Why should we have to put the money out for either of those things? Its not our fault the unit is leaking. Property manager is useless. My husband has called the regional manager several times to talk about the water leak (and the items that have been destroyed) and no one has called him back. Weve been reaching out to them for two months! Customer service said they would escalate our issue to the district manager... nothing. Property manager called to let us know that rent is due and to avoid any late fees, rent should be paid today. Totally oblivious to the issue that weve been talking to her about for months. Definitely stay away. We understand things happen (its a storage unit so we get it) but its the lack of customer service and processes in place to solve the issue. No attempts have been made to fix the leak or have someone meet us there to repair the unit. Weve lost wedding gifts and personal items due to the leak and cant even get a phone call from someone in charge since apparently the property manager cant do anything to help us. Dont waste your money!

Last week, I drove a fully-loaded 26 Penske rental truck from southern New England to the Newtown Square location. I had a Saturday move-in date reserved but needed to push back to Sunday because of logistical problems, which proved to be advantageous as I soon learned. The manager, Chris, called me when the office opened to confirm I was coming, and at my request scheduled an 11:00 a.m check-in appointment for me. I had already completed some of the forms online, which made things easier, but Chris was extremely thorough, courteous and offered lots of helpful advice and suggestions for making what I feared would be sweaty, all-day ordeal manageable if not pleasant. He came by from time to time to check on my progress, ask how I was doing and if I needed anything, and helped make sure my truck was unloaded before closing. His can-do attitude and hands-on approach to customer service really impressed me! My advice to Public Storage management: promote this guy, and fast, before the competition snatches him away! Hes that good.

Lynn, the property manager is very helpful, friendly and knows her stuff!! Property is at a great location. Hours are convenient and rates are reasonable. Be advised that Public Storage utilizes a third party vendor to handle all on-site maintenance issues (ie, fixing light bulbs, unclogging bathroom facilities, etc.). Customers are required to wait until a property/work order is placed with Corporate and then the third party reps come out at their ability to address and fix the issues. Overall our experience was good, but being able to full utilize the services as paid for (light bulbs in our unit worked only 3 weeks out of the 3 months we paid for a large unit) would make the experience excellent.

The manager Chris was very pleasant and answered any questions that my husband or myself had. He went through what we would be storing and made sure we selected the correct unit size. Then walked us to our unit to check it out before signing any paperwork. I was extremely happy with my experience and definitely would recommend this storage facility. The only downside is that it was snowing and the parking lot was not salted. There is a good sized Hill that you need to get up when arriving and down when leaving, that wasnt salted. So that was definitely a little scary. But the office and unit was clean and management very helpful and friendly!

Lynn was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and good natured when my husband and I came to rent a storage unit. We were especially impressed at how well she balanced dealing with us, and with others coming into her store as well as keeping an eye on who was driving in and out of the facility -- it was obvious that she took her job seriously, was concerned about her customers and their belongings, and took pride in what she was doing -- this made us feel very secure in choosing Public Storage. We will definitely recommend Lynn and the Public Storage facility in Newtown Square to anyone we know in need of such services. THANKS.

Krystal at Public Storage is an outstanding professional manager extremely attuned to customer service. She gave me wonderful details about service offerings, squired me around in a golf cart and patiently looked out for exactly the right storage space, showing me all the options. She was also patient with my temporarily indecision about space needs and was eager to find me the best deal. In all Id recommend her and Public Storage at Newtown Square PA without reservation or hesitation. I came to rent my unit on 2/25 but the computer calculated a prorated number that didnt make sense to me. Lynn from this property was absolutely fantastic in trying to help me understand the math but when neither of us could figure it out Lynn called Michele from the Aston property. Both Lynn and Michele patiently worked through it and came up with the same math I did which was less than the computer. They graciously suggested I move my move in date to 2/1 to avoid the incorrect proration which I did. I would highly recommend public storage based on these two employees.

Lynn and Lorena were both marvelous to work with! I had an emergency and needed to store all my possessions immediately. Lorena was in that day for Lynn, and handled my situation very efficiently - showed me the unit, walked me through all the necessary paperwork and set up my account accurately. Subsequent interaction was with Lynn and she was terrific too. The unit was easily accessible and the facility is very well maintained. I will use them again when I need to and recommend them highly to anyone in the Newtown Square/Paoli/West Chester area.

Lynn is very courteous and professional, and she makes the process of starting and ending your lease very quick, easy, and clear. The rate for the storage unit was reasonable and I felt that my belongs were safe and secure, and access my unit was easy and convenient. The only mistake i made was to not cover everything very securely, so when I moved the stuff out I had to deal with lots of stinkbugs, and some mouse poo. But that is totally my fault for just throwing plastic over my stuff and not sealing it.

Lynn who is the manager at the Edgemont, PA location has given me superior service for over two years now. She makes it her business to personally contact me if she thinks I may be running late on a payment to save me money. Lynn is more like a friend than a business asssociate and is a top notch customer service person. She should be a regional manager and you should let her train people. John C Edgemont location

I signed up online for this storage area as my fiance and I may be moving in June/July. We figured it would be an easier place to move items to and from and allow it to be gradual. Kristin the property manager finalized our sign in and everything went smoothly and quickly. I highly recommend this place, we were even able to get an inside almost drive up space since it was right next to the door.
