I needed a storage unit in Delaware because I was moving up from Florida. When I called about Sentinel in Middletown I got someone on an 800 number that gave me all the wrong info. I was told someone in Delaware could come into the office on my behalf and reserve a unit for me, when my friend did so she was told by Miss Pat that we were given the wrong info. I then called Miss Pat explaining my situation that I would not be in Delaware until Sunday and I had to have my 26 ft moving truck returned on Monday morning. I was in a panic and very pressed for time. Thank god for Pat, she was so kind and put my mind at ease and was willing to come in on her day off and when the office was closed to help me get a unit. Pat went above and beyond the call of great customer service. She really saved me a lot of extra stress and from going somewhere else with my business. I would recommend Sentinel in Middletown to everyone!! Besides the wonderful ladies that work there it really is a nice, clean and safe storage business!! Thank you again Miss Pat for being such a caring person and willing to go the extra mile, that is so rare these days. Please give this woman a nice Christmas bonus!!!

I needed a storage unit for all my personal belongings while seeking an apartment in Middletown. I had a large collection of books that I was particularly concerned about, and Sentinel Climate-Controlled storage was the perfect solution. I rented a 10x20 CC unit for two months (second month free) and removed my stuff after six weeks when I got a place to stay. We had a huge amount of rain during this time - heavy thunderstorms, all-night downpours, repeated lines of showers, the works. The storage unit and the access aisle were bone dry - not a drop of water. The temperature and humidity in the unit were very consistent, and even the driveways around the facility drained quickly. Getting to know Pat and Elaine was an added bonus. They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. This was my first experience with a storage facility, and it was totally positive.

I would like to praise the services of Sentinel Self Storage in Middletown, DE. I have always felt confident in the safety and caring of my possessions there. Pat Ashley, the site manager is the backbone of this facility. Ms. Ashley is proficient in her duties and record keeping and always makes her self available to you for any questions or concerns you might have. I have had dealings with several storage facilities over the years; Sentinel Self Storage of Middletown, DE is by far the best. Dealing with Ms. Ashley at sentinel over the past 11 plus years has been a very pleasant, rewarding, and worthwhile experience; Pat Ashley is in deed a jewel and a credit to the industry.

Sheldon Singer 4-22-11 Sentinel Storage has proved to me that they are very professional in how they do business. Their staff, Pat and Elaine, have been most helpful to me personally over the past several years in the storage of my motor home. In addition, they have been a huge help to our Middletown Odessa Rotary Club by providing free storage for our Pedals for Progress project, the collection of used bicycles to be shipped to third world countries. We really needed a storage unit in an extremely short amount of time as far as notice was concerned. Pat made sure that we found a way to do this even if it was closing in a short amount of time. She called me back and we sorted out our options. She was SO helpful to my family and I. I appreciate all of her help, as we were all stressed out that day. After what can only be described as a horrible experience at another local facility, I realized that safety, security, and cleanliness need to be major factors in deciding upon a facility other than just looking for the cheapest. I just want you to know that Sentinel Self Storage in Middletown is the best around> I have been storing my property with since 1991. The Security at the Sentinel is very good and they have temperature regulated units as well. And the lady that runs the Middletown location is tops in my book Pat is very nice and she is always willing to answer any questions. Tell Pat that Katie sent you.

The Best rental facility and the best rental manager (Pat) that I have ever had. I kept my boat in here for years and Pat has called me on several occasions when either the cover was loose in thw wind, when she had other spaces available that I may want to move to ( I did ). She is so professional and I would advise anyone to use this facility....
