This is the worst possible place you could have your car serviced. When I was in a minor collision at the end of June, I had little choice but to go here since I was visiting relatives and didnt know the area. The following list details exactly why I would really, really recommend you find another service center - ANY other service center. 1. Bad communication about time frame. The date the car was supposed to be fixed kept getting pushed back. Because I am not from the area and the repairs took three weeks I had to arrange to drive in to pick up the car, which was a four hour trip. On the day that it was supposed to be done, they continued to push the time back further and further, despite having told me that was the date I could pick it up. No reason for the constant delays were given, but it seemed as though they had done little/nothing until that day to repair it despite having the parts to do so. Which is nothing compared to 2. When they finally gave me my car back (very rudely) at the end of the day, I drove it down the street and didnt even get a full quarter of a mile before it had overheated 5-7 times on a busy road. I limped it back to the station and the heat nearly melted off my face when I lifted up the hood. At this point, only about 10-15 minutes after I drove away with it, nobody was at the shop. I had to arrange for a transportation and a hotel so they could look at it again the next day. They said that the coolant not in the car and that this was somehow my fault despite the fact that they should have checked that before it was given to me and that it wasnt leaking any fluid at any point, indicating that they had just neglected to replace the coolant they had removed during repairs. 3. Fast forward to now, two months later. My car has been having problems with turning over when I try to start it since after it was fixed. Note that it ran fine before the accident and even after it but before it was brought into the body shop (they told me that the damage was all to the body anyway). I took it into my local garage expecting to need to replace the starter or battery, but received quite a shock when they told me that it was in fact my head gasket and they werent even sure if I would want to replace it because of how expensive it would be. When I asked what could cause a problem like this he said that it would be from the car overheating, likely from lack of coolant. Considering that my car worked well before they "repaired" it, and that this issue started when they left my car without coolant and it overheated, I think its pretty reasonable to assume that this is directly because of their negligence. 4. When I asked for an itemized list of what they did to my car (four times) the most they would give me was a receipt. 5. They stole about $5-10 worth of change out of my car. I had even hidden it, so I think they must have combed through it to see what they could take. I cant recommend that you avoid this place enough. If you hate your car and want to see it destroyed by Steubenville Pike Auto Bodys negligence, if you want to be treated rudely by a foul-mouth who acts as though giving you any information is a chore, if you want things stolen out of your car - youre at the right place. Otherwise, you have a number of other options in that area, you owe it to yourself and your car to go to one of them.

Another happy customer! Theres a reason why Steubenville Pike Auto has grown so much every time I have drive by over the years it gets bigger. A good friend recommended this place to me because they are a AAA approved repair shop, I brought my Toyota Corolla in today for a quick oil change. I called early in the morning because I had heard that they get really busy and usually like to schedule things in. When I called, it sounded like they were already pretty busy, but Mike said that I could take it in at 9am and they could get it done. I arrived on time and said Id wait for my car. I dropped off my car keys with Russ and went read in their waiting room. What I like about Steubenville Pike Auto Repair is that they are honest and everything is high quality. The waiting room is right next to the managers desk and the door was open. I could hear the conversations between Mike and his employees and I could also hear some of the conversations he was having on the phone (updating other customers on their car, trying to find parts). They dont have anything to hide -- its honest, quality work. I can tell that their shop runs like a well-oiled machine, everyones doing their part and working together to get the work done right. When I came in Monday morning, they were pretty full, all the stalls were taken and there were several parked cars waiting their turn. Russ greeted me and I handed over the car keys, letting him know that I called earlier. Mike remembered that I had called and made some adjustments with his employees so that someone could work on my oil change. I waited for only a few minutes and then my car was ready. In addition to the oil change, they checked my brakes, filter, and lights. Im very appreciative that they were able to fit me into their busy schedule this morning. This positive first experience will definitely keep me coming back the next time and I feel like I already trust these gentlemen with my car. Ill be recommending them to my friends!

On 6-16-2017 i went for an alignment for my car because previous visit on 6-15-2017 from there 30 point oil change said that an alignment was recommended. I had never had any problems with my car alignment it never pulled or steered to the right or left it was fine i know my car how it handles and preformes. So any ways i let there mechanic or tech whatever they want to call themselves work on my car 1hour later my car is finished. They said they could not fix my alignment problem properly because of the un even ware of my tires..said my car was up on there machine twice and could not fix the problem. Ok so they dont charge me. Now im driving my car home and i notice my alignment is totally messed up. It was never like this prior to me bringing it to them. So bad i could not drive my car properly so i pulled over turned around called the shop and told them im bringing my car back to the shop because this is not how i left my car to them whom ever handled my car did piss poor shotty work and my car is veering off. So i get back to the shop Kevin took my keys apologized and told me to have a seat im furious but im cool about it so i sat and waited while they drove my car into the repair bay bout an hour later my car was done..i was walking up to the register to pay for repair bill Kevin said no charge and handed me my keys. And said have a nice day. I cant give the repair shop 5 stars because my car was not given back to me the same as i left it for them i had to go back and have them correct the problem so i can only give them 3 stars for service recovery...
