We initially were very pleased with Learning and Sharing. Then we started to get incident report after incident report. We were assured that it was typical for the young classroom -- especially the incidents of biting. Bitten three times, we raised concerns again. We were told how the manner would be handled, which matched the protocols for the state. Then two days later, he was bit four more times in one day -- we were given the same line. Obviously the other protocols were never implemented. We transferred our son to a new daycare -- he went four months without an incident report, leading us to conclude for certain the problem was with Learning and Sharing.

At first we loved learning and sharing - I guess they try to make a good impression but then we started noticing that our child didnt want to stay in the AM and the classroom was often over capacity. It seemed that the purpose was to make money more than to provide childcare. Rates here are too high to not get significantly better care than at other places. We moved and are much happier.

If you want your kids to have hot food that you pack your kids everyday, pick a new daycare. Recently they decided that boys can have hot foods on Mondays and Wednesdays. Girls get Tuesdays and Thursdays.
