I went there to get my hair braided in cornrows. My hair is short because I cut it all of about 7 months ago. Transitioning from relaxed to natural. Braids are a great protective style right? Meanwhile this my second time getting my hair braided by them. The first time I got microws & they did a great job I didnt have any complaints. The second time it was a nightmare. I got cornrows I sent a picture to the owner asking if I could get the hairstyle because my hair is short. She told me yes come in they did a sample of 2 braids to see how I like it. I liked it, it wasnt tight at all it was loose how I wanted it. I told her to proceed with braiding my hair. She braided my hair so tight the pain was unbareable. Each time I told her, your braiding her too tight, it hurts, she tells me sorry, your hair is short. Which is weird when she did the samples it wasnt tight at all nor did it hurt. Plus I got my hair braided by them before in microws & my hair was shorter & it didnt hurt no where near that. I was in pain, real pain. I had a severe migraine my skin was pulling on my forehead. I didnt want to do anything but sleep & I couldnt even do that. I tried oil, water, nothing would loosen those braids. I went back the next day & they took a few braids out & loosen them up. It still was hurting. The weekend came & I couldnt take it no more I took all the braids out after wasting 150.00 on top of that it tore out my edges & I lost a lot of hair in the middle of my head. My scalp had sores that was bleeding & pussing. Ive been getting my hair braided all my life. I have never endored pain as such from cornrows. Braids are tight but it should never make your scalp bleed or puss. Im still losing hair & its been about a month.

I went in to get faux locs. I got there and one lady started my hair, but then left me in the chair until another lady came and started working on my hair. I repeatedly said please dont make them too tight and watch for my edges. They continued to make it as tight as possible. I told them a certain size and they kept saying okay, but continued to make them smaller than I wanted. I kept telling them both please not to tight and make them bigger, as they kept saying okay and making it tighter. In the middle of the work they once again switched to another lady doing my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and asked her to please make them bigger and losser and she did not. Now I can not sleep and my scalp is Bleeding from the tightness, some locs actually fell out. DO NOT GO THEY SUCK! I have never had so much pain caused by getting these done before and never has my head resulted into bleeding.

Listen, I am taking the time to write this because I am a single dad a needed a reliable Salon for braiding to take my daughter who is even. My daughter was smiling from ear to ear, her hair came out great. This women is very very good. Not only was it fast but for the style we choose it easily could of taken an hour longer to complete. I brought pictures of in she looked at them twice and did her thing. Plus she took me same day because where I was originally scheduled to go said they could not take me anymore so about 5:15 pm I called here and made a 6 pm appointment. VERY VERY PLEASE!!!

I went there yesterday because I did my research before getting my hair done on the Internet. I read a lot of good things. So my own experience there was pleasant the women there were really nice, its clean, its not all loud, its comfortable and most importantly my hair looks AMAZING!!!!! Everyone that was there getting their hair done when I was their hair looked amazing. They really take their time because they want you to come back and I will return. Theyve found a loyal customer and I truly recommend this place to anyone.

This shop is absolutely amazing!!! I came in as a walk-in requesting Ghana Braids/Goddess braids.. I showed them a picture of how I wanted my hair braided and they braided my hair even better than the picture.. I was so happy with the outcome and they were very fast with getting it done..I begin to receive compliments as soon as I walked out of the salon and everyday sense.. the price was great and my hair is beautiful... I recommend anyone interested in getting there hair braided to check them out..

Love, love Love this salon!!! They are absolutely the truth!!! My edges were short and thin, they caught all of it. The shop is cool.and clean and the staff are friendly and professional. They have my hair on fleek. Getting compliments all day every day. This is the new go to place. Thanks for hooking a sustainable up!!!

Does not take debit or credit cards!!! I was misinformed by Google. Service was nice. It took almost 6 hours for my niece to get individuals. Luckily we got here before the crowd. The waiting was terrible but looks nice at first glance. Will edit review to see how it holds up after a few weeks.

Drove to Philly from NC for the weekend and wanted to get my hair braided. Im real funny on who does my hair but The ladies at this shop did a great job. I got the faux locs and I love them. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair and even suggested that they go to this shop!

The owner was great. I called around hoping someone would be open on New Years day and she opened her shop just for me. She repeatedly asked how I was doing, if I was comfortable. I got long, Senegalese/rope twists at a good price and theyre BEAUTIFUL! Im very satisfied.

My experience there was wonderful! I was serviced right away. I showed them a picture of How I wanted my hair and they did just that! I love love love this braiding salon and will be going back again. They even offered beverages during my stay. 5 star braiding shop!
