My experience started at the newtown locations. I consulted with Colleen for corrective color to return to reddish tone from the present medium brown. By this time I had a year of corrective color and hair cuts to get rid of the almost black patches in my hair. ( from past color mishaps). It was corrected and now the goal was color tweeking. First few sessions the color, was on correct path, 4th or 5th visit the hair color took a wrong path, I noticed uneven patch on the bangs of dark brown/ almost black color. ( wanted red people). From past experiences, going lighter red from darker tone without stripping hair color is impossible. I was very unhappy and wanted my money back. The salon provided my money and owner Eric, was very concerned and offered to have another stylist correct this error, in the Doylestown location. Erin, was able to extract the dark tone and correct the problem within first 2 to 3 sessions, and we were getting very close to returning back to reddish color. However 3rd visit, the the result was more brown than red and noted texture a bit dry. 4th visit I made Erin aware that the color took a wrong turn ( brown instead of red) and the texture was a bit dry after the color last visit. Hoping this feedback will yield better rusults, I crossed my finges in the chair. Unfortunately, no luck: immediately after the color was washed out the hair felt dry, so I opted not to blow dry hair fear of more damage. At home when hair completely dry, not only the texture frizzy, brittle and dry, but noted a large patch of black, near roots , and noted 3 different tones in my hair. Wait, this was exactly what Erin fixed and now she caused the same issue? Except this time the damage was worse, the color was off and the hair texture dry leading to hair breakage and thinning . So, Paid $125 dollars ( without $20 tip) for uneven coverage of grey, have 3 different tones of color starting from my roots, and dry brittle hair. I spoke with Eric the owner, and simply asked for my money back so I can correct the damage. I was told that money would not be returned since his wife was at the front desk and thought the color looked great. I am not sure how she could come to this conclusion since I left the salon with wet hair, in a clip. The services received by Colleen and Erin combined were substandard to say the least. Thought this experience was worth noting.
