My wife, children, and myself recently had the pleasure of working with Ryan McCann and Jim Onesti of the McCann team. Due to a series of unexpected challenges, none of which were ours or the McCann teams fault, our move ended up being one of the most hectic and trying times of our lives. We were very lucky to have had Ryan and Jim on our side. Both Ryan and Jim spent hours negotiating the hurdles of FHA and working overtime to make sure that we were going to end up in our dream house. While my wife and I sat in the hospital welcoming our new daughter Ryan was on the phone wheeling and dealing with our sellers agent. I felt at many moments that there was no way we were going to get this to work but Ryan works magic and kept that sparkle of hope alive. I know that had it not been for Ryan I would not be sitting in my dream home. I also know from experience that most brokers would not have taken the time or made even half the effort that Ryan made. They also have a great supporting team and every person we were exposed to exceeded any expectation that I had. I can not speak highly enough of the service provided by Ryan and Jim. Every step of the way they were responsive and made it feel like they had as much invested in the process as we did. Our situation was unique and very challenging but Ryan and Jim were the rocks that got us through. I can recommend both of these gentlemen for all home buying situations good and bad. If you do find yourselves buying or selling and you have Ryan McCann or Jim Onesti in your corner just sit back and breath because you are working with the BEST!!

I live by some properties that they are representing. The contractors were leaving their garbage in the street. I contacted Mike through email. He responded and said he would reach out to them to clean it up. Three days later the garbage doubled in size right after they had an open house. After several emails back and forth he responds with a "if you knew who I am you wouldnt accuse me of leaving garbage," and goes onto deflect blame from him to my neighbors and then says that I have just as much power as him in this situation even after he wont give me any phone numbers to contact someone about the problem. I live in a newly developed spot of row houses and have 2 garbage cans that were provided at time of move in as do all my neighbors. We would have to go through the back of our houses and down the street to dispose our garbage in the location. So my question is, how can none of his agents generate absolutely no garbage when theyre on property? So either they generate no garbage whatsoever, or they take all the garbage with them when they leave, even after an open house. Pretty classy to blame everyone else instead of owning it. Mike McCann, Philadelphias #1 blame deflector.

I had met mike McCann in 2009 to discussed selling my house. So in June of 2013 when I finally decided to sell I called Mike. We met again and I was so impressed with his presentation that I knew he was the right "man" to handle the sale. The house had several issues to overcome such as it being an upside down house ( the kitchen and living space were on the third floor and my studio on the first). Mike and his team went to work. They advertised extensively, had weekly open houses and reported to me every comment and concern. Given the age of the house and its unique issues to deal with, I truly believe that Mike McCann and his unique team made the sale happen. Because of his expertise, experience, reputation, persistence and his relationships in the industry he was able to seemlessly overcome and resolve every issue. The house sold for what Mike said it would which was what I was hoping for. I made settlement on November 15, 2013. I truly believe that no other agent could have made the sale seem as smooth and effortless to me the seller. If you want the best to sell your property Mike McCann is the real "Real estate Man"

I worked with Ryan McCann and it was a great experience. As a first time home buyer, I had loads of question and wanted to look at a ton of places. He was patient and thorough in answering my questions, and he didnt hesitate to drive all over the city to check out every house that piqued my interest. If he did not know the answer to one of my questions, he would quickly find out and get back to me rather than attempt to talk around it or provide some superficial answer. I got the impression that he enjoyed showing the house as much as I enjoyed seeing them, and he seems to have a knack for matching people with homes. He was professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process, and he had insights into various Philadelphia neighborhoods that were appreciated and helpful. He was very responsive, even working late on a Saturday night to ensure my offer was put in as soon as possible. It was a pleasure working with Ryan - he made an at times stressful experience smooth and seamless!

As a first time buyer, and fairly new to the Philadelphia area, I couldnt have asked for a better agent than Pam Thistle. She was patient, informative, thorough and thoughtful. After showing me the types of houses in Philadelphia in my price range we began to narrow down what I was looking for in a house. Pam was accommodating - making time for me when my sporadic schedule allowed, and never rushing the process. I felt confident when I found the house I ended up buying, and felt that I had the best representation in my agent. Her suggestions throughout the process were always spot on and she always allowed me time to digest and make my own decisions. I believe the support of the McCann Team allowed Pam to be able to do an excellent job and would not hesitate to recommend her or her team in the future. I know I will use them again when the time comes.

Lauren Acker was referred to us by a friend when we decided this winter to make a move from Devon into Philadelphia. We spent approximately three months looking at a variety of homes from Fitler Square to Society Hill. We couldnt have asked for a better experience working with Lauren who showed great professionalism and patience as we learned which neighborhood we wanted to live in and at what cost. Needless to say,we looked at a lot of homes! Lauren made all of our appointments on time, if not early, and was always quick to follow up with any questions or concerns we had. When we finally settled on a house, Lauren skillfully guided us through the negotiations which resulted in a great deal on a wonderful 200 year old home. If you want honesty, know-how, and customer service, Lauren Acker is the right choice!

I worked with Ryan McCann on Mike McCanns team and I really cannot say enough amazing things about Ryan and my first home-buying experience. Everyone always told me that buying a house is a scary process and takes time and that I would have to settle on certain things and negotiate on others. For the first few weeks, I was waiting for the other shoe to fall because it just seemed too easy. Spoiler alert: it never did! Ryan was on top of EVERYTHING, listened to what I was looking for, and helped me complete a 30 day closing with no loose ends. He is patient, knowledgeable about Philadelphia, and got me into my dream home at the price I wanted to pay. Ive told everyone how amazing Ryan and the McCann team were and I would very highly recommend trusting them with your next home.
