Overpriced. Rude. Inconsiderate. Unprofessional. Quoted close to a grand to move a two bedroom apartment. I then asked for a price just to move two beds, two dressers, a couch, a recliner, two bookshelves, two office desks, dining room table and chairs. E mails and calls ignored for several days. Was told after I demanded a response that this would only save me a "couple hundred bucks." Went to schedule a time for them to come out. Staff was incompetent and at a loss. Explained my situation and frustration to a man who would later be identified to me as the controller. Did not curse or yell but was clearly angry. He hung up on me. Called and spoke with the owners nephew who offered no apology and proceeded to justify the controllers actions. Also told me they were booked all the days I was available to move, but said he would call me back if he could work something out. Had to get to the owners nephew to find out they were booked. Call from owners nephew never came. Appauling disgusting unprofesional rude and incompetent. Found a decent moving company to do the job for half the price and zero percent of the hassle. Avoid these people. Do not hire them. Horrible mismanaged company.

Horrible company! We contacted Clemmer because they are affiliated with Allied. Kyle Clemmer came to do our estimate. He was late, toured the house, wrote down detailed notes and spent some time putting together the quote. He specifically told us that he deliberately overestimates the quote and that we could very well expect to pay less. We were charged after our move from our townhouse into storage for 83% of the original quote. This alarmed us, so we called and were told that there was a discrepancy in the calculation of the weight, but that moving in should take less time and we should still come in under the quote. We were charged 20% above original quote. We had a strict budget and this increase in cost hurt us terribly. We feel cheated. When we tried to express our concerns to the company, we were completely ignored despite repeated attempts. We have filed a complaint with the BBB. Do not trust these people.

Please Read. March 2017 - Clemmer Movers lost and damaged many valued items after being hired for an executive move from Los Angeles to Philadelphia invoiced $26,000. So careless packed non transportable items violation of federal law like lighter fluid, spray cans and other combustible materials with matches leaked and ruined items including our bed linens. Luckily the moving van did not catch fire in transport. Moved a lot in the past, this move was by far our worst experience. #clemmermovingandtransport and their subcontractor #beverlyhillsstorageandtransport were careless packing and loading and unloading breaking many valuable items losing large pieces like a valued Persian rug that was the focal piece of our living room. A number of photos to post. Wish I had read the reviews on this board before hiring hiring Clemmor.

Avoid using this place if possible. The dispatcher Briggs failed to produce the proper insurance paperwork and failed to verify my building docks availability prior to delivery. When they attempted delivery, they were turned away. They billed the primary shipping company SunBelt and SunBelt billed me for a show-no-deliver charge. In order to get them to deliver, I had to pay the charge. I have still not received a refund of my money after many attempted calls and emails with proof that this companys dispatcher messed up. This business is horrendous. Do not use them.

Everyone that I worked with at Clemmer was outstanding. From the estimate to the contract to the pickup and delivery, each person was extraordinarily helpful and made sure that all my needs were met during a really stressful time. The movers on both ends were incredibly kind, funny, and dedicated. They worked fast, took care of my items, and were pleasant (even when they were moving my heaviest items). I would recommend Clemmer to anyone who is moving! Thank you so much for your great work!

I will be moving forward with litigation against this terrible company. DO NOT USE THEM. They grossly understaffed, they damaged my walls, my appliances and broke SEVERAL items and their claims process is a bad joke. I will update this review with the progress of the litigation.

A terrible experience! Many items were broken and damaged in the interstate move. Also, items were stolen. We had to file a stolen goods report with the State Police. Was also charged extra on my credit card without permission! Do not do business with this company!
