I found Telford Auto Repair and Tire on Google, so I thought I would pay it forward by posting my own review! As someone who regrettably doesnt know much about cars, it can be intimidating to have my car worked on. But, I had an embarrassing laundry list of car maintenance that I had put off for far too long and I decided to take it in for some TLC. I called ahead to make sure I didnt need an appointment, and they said it would be fine to come on in. I left the car with them for a few hours while I ran errands and such. (There is plenty within walking distance, which is a plus.) Shawn (the manager) called to let me know they had finished the inspection, and asked if I would come in so that he could go over what needed to be done. When I got there, he walked me through everything they found during their inspection, even physically showing me parts that were worn or needed maintenance. He gave me an extremely reasonable quote, considering all the work I needed done--spark plugs, battery, fuel injector, brakes, the list goes on--like I said, embarrassing! Even with all that, it was just a few hours later when Shawn calls and says my car is ready to be picked up. As Im paying, he tells me that they noticed another belt that required replacing when they were working on my car. He said he didnt want to let it go in the condition it was in, and that they went ahead and did the work for free. I couldnt believe it, and I didnt pay a penny more than the quote he had given me earlier in the afternoon. This made me feel very confident about the work they do here, and that they genuinely care about their customers and are not just preoccupied with the bottom line. I am very pleased. I will absolutely be back, and definitely recommend Telford Auto Repair and Tire!

They seem very friendly and honest and even let me borrow their tape and scissors so my 5 year old could complete her homework(I dont waste any time). We wasted no time and they had us in and out in a flash and was able to squeeze us in for an oil change at the drop of a dime.. By the time her homework was complete, they were already done. Thats how quick they are. No complaints here. I feel as if they can be trusted. Thats my gut feeling and its usually right (my gut that is)lol. I strongly feel that if more businesses treated their customers this way, our economy would be stronger and better and people would be happier. Happier=healthier.

Telfords Auto Repair is an absolute life saver! My fiance and I were driving through on our way to visit his father when our brake line snapped. We were miles from home (southeastern Ohio) and knew no one in the area. Thankfully, we were able to ease the car to Telfords, where they were quick to bump us up on the priority list and take care of the problem for us. Within 2 hours we were back on the road! Thank you guys so much for being so helpful, and for even taking the time to show my toddler around the garage. Truly top notch service!

I had a problem with my AC in the hottest time and 2 trips to the dealer STILL did not fix it. The dealer quoted me a high price for parts, but theyd have to order the parts. I went to Shawn after reading the reviews. His prices were reasonable, and despite having to remove my bumper and put in a compressor, my car was STILL done in a few hours. I recommended Shawn to my son and my son was pleased with both price and service. Shawn is very accommodating, knowledgeable, and honest. I think well keep him as our family mechanic.

Last week I went here for an change and an a/c check. They took me right away , did a quick and clean oil change. The a/c check found my compressor not starting, was quoted a modest price for an electrical check and it was found to be a loose connection and to my surprise I was charged less than half the quoted price . I had a great experience here, Shawn was knowledgeable and friendly, his office person was professional and happy. I have no reservations highly recommending Telford Auto Repair for your car needs

I had work done here recently, and I had an overall great experience! In this day and age I feel it is hard to find an honest mechanic. The owner, Shawn is just that, along with friendly and knowledgeable. Shawn took the time to explain to me exactly what the issue was, reviewed my options and had the work done in a timely fashion. His prices are great and the shop atmosphere was amazing! I will be a life long customer of Telford Auto Repair!

I usually never write reviews but i found a great local mechanic who was able to diagnosis a problem ive been having that i took several places and other places couldnt find yet charged me for "problems" that werent even needed. I have been going to him several times now and have spent minimal money and now my 10 year old car deives like its brand new. Hes fast, honest, and reliable! I will not take my car ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
