I hate to write a bad review, but I must be honest. I was looking for a new place and read the great reviews for More Miles. I took my car in when the brakes were suddenly failing (hose leak). With new hoses, Mike talked my husband also into new back rotors and pads as they were “beat”. He called again later to recommend a new wheel hub due to rust for another few hundred, and commented he wouldn’t want HIS wife and kids riding in it. (Shaming a customer is never a good sales tactic.) My husband said no after being sent a picture. When we picked it up I said the brake pedal was still too spongy and I didn’t feel 100% safe. We went back in and said so. The receptionist was quick to state “they bled the brakes pretty good”. (How did she know?) Mike came in and told us they would “be hard as a rock in 2 days” and they just “need to seat” and “all GMs are like that”. No offer to come check the pedal to set us at ease. He brushed us off and we left feeling suspicious. After 3 days the brakes were the same – didn’t catch until the pedal was at least half way down and I could easily push it all the way to the floor. My husband then bled the brakes himself with our daughter’s help. He said there was a lot of air in one side. Immediately after, the pedal was “hard as a rock”. I question whether some or all of the great reviews are fabricated.

HOME GROWN BUSINESS ......THAT HANGS WITH THE BIG BOYS! Im a family man of 6 and have been taking our cars to Mike for 14 yrs that Ive been in the area. FINALLY HE HAS HIS OWN PLACE! As I said before home grown business that has the owner on site and actually working on your car. One cool part is his staff stays with him so the learn your car and what it needs. MMMA gors that extra mile and always does it with a positive results. As far as cost; well youd expect him to be costly given the service right? Mike relies on his customer base and we in turn rely on him. So the business thrives and he can keep cost low - to within reason. Lets face it you cant expect them to put an engine in with parts and labor for $300 bucks. But you can be sure that Mike will work with you anyway he can and he will come up with the the best plan that he knows how , to get you on the road. We dont have that hometown mechanic anymore which is what makes MMMA special. Your car is in great hands and the value is fantastic. Cars serviced and have run amazing so far: 2000 Nissan Sentra 2002 Nissan Xterra 2003 Nissan Sentra 2004 Mazda 6 2008 Hyndai Entourage 2009 Chevy Traverse 2011 Chevy Traverse Thanks again guys David .R

Ive met Mike over 1,000,000 miles ago when he kept my first self-owned business vehicle on the road for over 500,000 miles. That car (1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Brougham) was eventually sold to a Philadelphia-based detoxification center to escort clients when a large passenger van wasnt required. The new owner had the car checked out and couldnt believe I was letting this car go in superb condition. The replacement car was a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus LXi which turned 500,000 miles in 2015. These cars spent most of their time on the highways of southern New England and upstate New York as they logged about 36,000+ miles each year. Mike and his staff know how to keep a car on the road with preventive maintenance and eventual repairs/replacement parts as time dictates. Ive never regretted their advice as going the extra step proved to pay large dividends. His crew has also cared for our 1970 Cadillac Coupe deVille, 1978 Oldsmobile Starfire, 1996 Oldsmobile Aurora, and the new Honda Accord. Expect the best from our friends on Stefko Boulevard . . . .

This is a top shelf organization. Mike D. truly knows his stuff, and he and his team will always "go the extra mile" to make sure the customer is pleased. I first encountered Mike when he worked at Strauss Stores on Stefko Blvd, and I can honestly say that it was the polite manner in which he spoke on the phone, that caught my attention. In fact I was going to have work done on the very day that Strauss Stores closed its doors, and a sign was posted on the door regarding the shut down. I cannot imagine how heartbreaking it must have been for all parties involved. My wife and I found out about the new place "More Miles" through an article in the "Lehigh Valley Live" newspaper, and we were very happy about it. The co-workers at "More Miles" are also more than helpful and make it an easy experience when setting up appointments. We truly saw the "hand of the Lord" in all of this and we know that He will continue to bless this honest organization. I highly recommend this place.

Every time Ive been to the shop, my service has been quick and very reasonably priced. Everyone who works here is always friendly and seemingly happy. On top of it all, the owner is a really nice guy who genuinely cares about his customers experiences and even recognizes people by name. Instead of selling a couple more services/fixes, he was very honest about the condition of the car and what the best option for repair was - even though it meant him not making money. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone wanting to support local business, as well as anyone looking for an all around great experience.

I cant say enough good things about More Miles. Rick and Bliss took care of me when my 2002 Infinti was having problems. They were kind and accommodating, Bliss even drove me back to my rental car up the street. Rick was thorough - he made sure we knew exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost (very reasonable!) before they did anything. Then, they turned my car around in half the time they originally quoted. Ive never had a better experience. I recommend More Miles and will definitely be back!! :) Note: I am a real customer and not paid to leave reviews.

This place is excellent! Most honest, knowledgeable, hardworking, caring crew I have ever encountered in an auto repair biz. Great service and hours and they always find a way to squeeze my car in for those little emergencies (nail in tire, burned out brake light). Nice clean waiting area with friendly people who are happy to answer any questions about your car and really know their stuff. Always reasonable and upfront about repair costs. I have recommended More Miles to many people and now I am telling you! Its the best!

Finally a garage worth while. With more miles I can finally rest easy knowing that Im not getting ripped off. Every time im there Im always greeted by the owner. (Mike) this is a guy that takes pride in what he does. I think his prices are extremely fair. When it comes to automotive work. People always want the cheapest job. For me I wouldnt want a $10 break special. Because in the end thats what you get a$10 brake job. Trust me take your car here once and youll be a returning customer.
