New Unit was installed on July 11th. Unit works great and the install team was wonderful. Friendly, identified themselves at the door, and kept me posted. If your looking for a great install they are the go too, but for service, a handshake at the door goes a long way and that didnt happen during both service calls. You wont get that from them. Look for somewhere with more communication during the visit. You have to open up the discussion about money before you get a bill. they will bill you in the mail. Keep reading if you want the complete run down. My AC was acting up and I called JK mechanical because I go to church with some of the people that work there. I dont expect any special treatment so I have not talked to any of them yet about the problem. I asked for a service call and a quote for a new A/C unit. Matt Kemper (outstanding knowledge and service from him) showed up and gave me a good run down on cost and plan even before he left. He stated if we bought an A/C with them he would credit me the service call back to me minus the repair costs. I agreed. (I have not received this credit) -1 JK mechanical showed up on June 30th because my A/C unit was tripping the breaker. The Unit had actually burned the bus bar in the panel. The circuit breaker was replaced and moved to a new slot, and before they left I was advised that the unit was fine and that the 60a disconnect outside needed to be replaced. No pricing was discussed with me during the visit. Bill came for almost 400 dollars for a service call?!? -1 I replaced the outside disconnect the day after because the A/C was still tripping the breaker. It did not work. I cut off the unit and had to go out of town, returning on the 4th. July 4th I called to have them come out again. I was told by Phil that he could come out to finally fix the problem or tell me what is actual wrong with the A/C but it would cost me more to come on a day off and if I didnt want to pay for this service call I would have to wait until July 5th. This is what I did. July 5th they showed up before 4pm, the tech actually told me the capacitor was bad and replaced it. It still trips the breaker. I called Matt Kemper to get a new A/C unit for ruffly $4300. He took my down payment of 1200 and I decided to finance the rest. But apparently the finance company will only finance for 3500 or more. Matt promised me he would refund me the 500 extra I payed for the down payment but that has not happened. ( -1) Im tired and exhausted just typing about it. I could go on but thats the basic run down of my experience. Matt Kemper is actually helping me to resolve some of these issues and will update at a later date.

The service I received from JK Mechanical was outstanding. I had called the company that had originally installed my heating system 1st thing Friday morning on the coldest day and weekend of the year, they told me they could not have anyone out to service my heating system until Monday afternoon, 3 days later, from 12-2; however if I wanted to pay their overtime fees they could have someone there later Friday afternoon. Needless to say I hung up the phone. When you purchase a system from a company you become that companies customer and being in the service industry this was just unacceptable. I could not go all weekend without heat since I have 4 kids. When I had called JK Mechanical the receptionist that took my call was very nice and understand the situation that I was in. Understanding that I was not their direct customer, due to the system coming from someone else they made me feel just as important as if I purchased it from them. They told me they would for sure have someone come out that day and they would call me 30 minutes before the tech would arrive. They were true to their word. The service tech called me before arriving and I was able to meet him at the house. JK Mechanicals service tech Mike B. was outstanding in his professionalism and knowledge. He explained everything to me and worked hard for my family to have heat. Thank you JK Mechanical and I have already talked about your great service to family, friends and co-workers. JK Mechanical will get my business in the future.

I have a Generac 11kw generator as a backup for power. When it was doing the weekly 15 minute operation a few months ago, the generator did not complete the cycle. I called JKMechanical and everyone was responsive to my problem and and very supportive. Michael L. came to my house and after determining the problem explained it to me and after talking to the Generac representative ordered parts and later came to replace them. The generator worked fine for a few weeks and then failed to complete another weekly operation session. Another call to JKMechanical and was handled well and because of my earlier experience I asked if Michael could stop again and look at the generator. He spent several hours to find the problem and took care of arranging replacement parts from Generac. When the parts arrived I again asked for Michael L to come and replace the parts. He has done so and everything is completely operational. I would like to extend my appreciation to all JKMechanical personnel and particularly to Mike for his interest and customer service. I have bragged and recommended to many folks about the company and the friendliness of all the company personnel and their cooperation. Thank You and Have a good one, Lex Morrissey

Very professional, knows his job very well. Jk mechanical is a very good company, fair,honest,down to earth people, fair prices with quality workmanship. This is a company that has been around for many years, they have been trained to do a perfect job. They work with you,not like a business, but as a friend, like a family. But the most important thing is that they know their job and it is done right. They have done many jobs for us and we never had any problems or complaints. They are number one in our book. They can be trusted. That means a lot today. They will work with you, and they will lead you in the best way for the job that you need to be done. At the beginning of the heat wave this past week our central air died. We called our normal HVAC Company who said they were very busy and couldnt get to us until Monday, I was calling on Wednesday! I called J.K. and not only were they willing to come out that day, they were able to work around our work schedules too! Phil was very thorough and explained exactly what was going on. He wasnt pushy at all and had our air up and running in no time! Extremely reasonable price as well!! I know who we are calling from now on!! Thank you so much!!

Very quick coming to the house. Dan Senft got the process rolling in no time. Lost communication after switching to project foreman. Called once to set up the appointment. On day before, no appointment reminder or general directions on how the next day was going to go. No update when repair was completed. No call afterwards asking how everything went. Just thought there would be more communication with us spending as much as we needed. All around, good company that provided what they said they would!
