When I moved to the area years ago I went to Barbosa and Son with a tricky ignition problem. Eddie figured out the problem, gave me a fair estimate and fixed the problem promptly. He was so honest and clear in his assessment of the problem that I went back and became a regular customer. Over the years, at times he has advised me to take my car to a dealership when he realized the problem should be covered under warranty. This has saved me many hundreds of dollars on two occasions. A couple times when I have picked up my car I found that he had charged me less than his original estimate when the time for the repair was shorter than originally thought. He is a very good mechanic and a very honest, nice person. I moved away from the area but I still drive the extra miles to bring my cars to Eddie.

The best part about this place is that the owner, Ed, is extremely honest and not the kind of mechanic that is going to try and pull one over on you and tell you that you need something fixed that you dont. This is very hard to find these days. Hes actually told me that I didnt need something done that I was almost sure I did. He threw a rear windshield wiper on my truck one time when I was getting an oil change, and didnt charge me for it. Its a clean, family owned shop and they do excellent work for a great price. Ive taken my car here for three years for everything including oil changes and have recommended them to about 5 other people who have all been more than satisfied and started bringing their cars there exclusively. Definitely give them a try.

My wife has been going to Barbosa and Sons for several years and has always enjoyed their kindness and professional approach to maintaining and repairing her vehicle. Today was the first opportunity I had to experience what I will call good old fashioned customer service. As Mr. Barbosa said- "if we dont take care of our customers who will?" What a pleasure! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have a positive customer service experience and the work done right. Now I know why my wife speaks so highly of them and they have my business in the future. What a breath of fresh air.
