I went to Rob Michael salon with a very specific photo of bleach blonde balayage highlights, and asked for a simple trim--I have been growing it out from shoulder length. I ended up with color barely visible, and unprofessional paint lines in my hair-- I have done better highlights at home--not to mention, it did not resemble the style I requested from the photo. I have thick hair and the stylist would not stop commenting on the amount of hair. She clearly was not comfortable with cutting thick hair, and instead of thinning it she lobbed four inches off the top layer, and I am left with not only uneven layers, but a shelf of hair that makes it appear I am wearing cheap splotchy blond extensions underneath. Knowing from the initial consultation that I was growing my hair out, she cut at least three months of hair growth. I am very disappointed in this experience, especially since the salon charged me upwards of $250 for providing me nothing I requested. I do not recommend patronizing this establishment.

Apathetic and charmless. I was so disappointed with my blow dry (which had gone up by $10 between booking and paying). It wasnt what I wanted because I was never asked what I wanted. The blow dry was ok. But only ok. Eadie was rough and what was meant to be the start of a magical c evening was tedious.

Wonderful place. I come every year from Michigan and Maine to get my hair trimmed by the Curl Specialist. I am pleased every time. Five stars from me!
