They were not big on actually calling back the customer. I was told I would receive a call the same day I dropped off the car. That didnt happen. I had to call, but they werent ready to tell me what was needed. They said they call back. They didnt I called the next day I had to confirm what repairs I wanted done and by when it could get done the next day. The next day I had to call back to see if the car was ready for pick up (after waiting past the time I had hoped for), since they claim we agreed it would be done by the time requested, although over the phone I remember they had told me they think they can have the car ready. I am use to the mechanics calling me to tell me this kind of stuff, so maybe I am just being picky. But the service was good. I would take my car back there anytime it needs a repair.

The job was done right, but in the end it was very expensive. They had me over a barrel and didnt have the time to research the price they gave me. Turns out the dealer price was 33% less (600 vs 900) for the same job. They also told me I had composite rotors and they cant be turned so I the rotors had to be replaced. The dealer says thats not true, not sure who to believe. To make it worse the dealer gives a lifetime pad replacement for free. Just not competitive on price when the dealer is beating you. As a followup, a second dealer I called was more expensive than Midas. So basically I called 3 places and the price ranged from 299 to 450 per axle.

Weve been taking our cars to this Midas shop for some time now, and I am always impressed by the excellent job these guys do. They clearly take pride in their work and go out of their way to see that their customers are satisfied. I recently suffered the stress of learning that a used vehicle purchased for my teenage son had major problems the prior owner concealed. Kevin and Matt worked tirelessly to resolve the issues. Their honesty, diligence and concern made me feel much better about an awful situation.

Car had a shock absorber/strut replaced this Summer. Just went to remove the front wheels. They were torqued to probably 500to 600 ft-lbs. Impact driver couldnt budge them. Had to use a 2 breaker bar with 3 extension pipe and put all my weight on it (200lbs). The lug bolts were actually damaged. Wheels were obviously torqued on at the maximum of an industrial air impact driver. If the car had had a flat somewhere, the driver would have been stranded.

I want to thank the staff at Midas / Wakefield for the repair to my sons car while away at collage. (U.R.I) It was a simple problem with a headlight connection that an unscrupulous auto shop may have taken to their advantage along with my sons hard earned money. Its not too often you can find someone you can trust being away from home (Bolton, Ct) but I believe I can trust these people for an honest repair. Thanks again Midas / Wakefield.

Upon dropping off my vehicle they are always very straightforward with me and do not make any unnecessary promises (which is how all business should be done). The prices have always been very reasonable and I am always treated with respect. 5/5.

Wonderful service at amazingly reasonable prices! I had a horrible squeaking noise coming from my rear wheels. They identified the issue and fixed the problem. I had taken the car to the dealership last weekend and they charged me for a diagnostic fee, but couldnt find any issue. I will never go anywhere else. Truly recommend this location to everyone.

Honest place, very knowledgable. When you need things done right this is the place. They will give you a no nonsense evaluation and are not always looking to just make the sale, rather maintain a customer. I own a business and rely on these guys rich and matt to keep my trucks on the road.

A great group of sharp mechanics at the Midas Wakefield. They are straight shooters, pretty quick turn-around, and fairly priced. They solve the tricky problems others cannot and only replace/replace what is needed, standing by their work. My go-to shop in town.
