We purchased new siding, a roof and 14 replacement windows from Rhode Island Home Improvement and we love our new look. Many of our neighbors have complimented on how beautiful our house looks. We would like to take credit for the color selection; however, we had little to do with it because we went with what Lou our RIHI products specialist recommended, and we are delighted we did. We thank you Lou for the time that you spent helping us though the selection process, to insure our happiness. It would be remiss of us not to mention the craftsmen that RIHI had work on our house. Every morning they arrived to our house at 7:30am, the first thing the Forman did was to bring the newspaper to our front door, then he informed us that they were starting ,( It’s nice to be informed)and asked us if we had any question, then wished us a great day. We have never met a more polite group of professionals .We were sad to see them leave…Their clean -up was impeccable. WE LOVE RIHI, and do highly recommend them to anyone planning to install a new roof, siding, or windows.

I had them come in and quote me for windows 3 years ago. They were high at the time. Close to double the 9 quotes i had received at the time. Skip ahead 3 years i ran into them at a Art fair. The guy who id spoke with said the company was a family owned business and he was part of the family. I said you guys were already there and the quote was too high. He said " yes, it does seems high". So i said i ll give you a second chance heres my info. So I had expectations that they would give me a lower price than what they quoted me 3 years ago. The salesman said the price is the price and it still hasnt change. The guy at the fair who is someones nephew, brother or cousin lied and wasted my time. Not to mention the women who DIDNT look my case up and say "hey we quoted you before, what went wrong". High prices for a window and dont let them fool you with some reply back. I walked for two reasons, 1) they lied 2) prices are high! Im leaving my name so if anyone wants the story can contact me!

Worst company ever! These people are a bunch of crooks! Salesman asked me for a MINUTE of my time and when I agreed he took out his laptop and started a TWO HOUR presentation on their company and then hit me with a price that was almost TRIPLE of what three other roofers quoted me at. When I told him I was not interested he got all pissy and stormed out of my house and didnt even shake my hand. And to make it worse a week later they called me asking for another chance for my business and I politely said no thank you and the woman on the phone said OK! And hung up. I will never refer this company to anyone I know ever!

Great job, we love it! RIHI recently installed new siding and 12 windows in our house in Portsmouth , and I will say that we have never had a better experience. Mike the sales consultant was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We were so undecided about what colors to choose, he helped us through this process...we love the look. RIHIs workmen are unbelievable, no matter how hot it was outside, they never stopped, they worked so diligently. Clearly they are true craftsman, and professionals. Rhode Island Home Improvement replaced my roof 7 years ago and did a great job. But we all know that the sign of a really good company is one that takes care of their customers even after 7 years...and they did! I live on a hill in a very high wind area and a couple roof shingles came down. I called them and they had someone here the next day! Its fixed and Im very happy to recommend them to anyone who wants a good, trustworthy company. Thank you so much, Rhode Island Home Improvement!!

I lived in rhode island for many years and used Rhode Island Home Improvement for my updates on my home, and then we wound up moving to CT. When I was ready to update my roof on my home in CT, they drove all the way out to CT to fix it for me. It was really nice being able to deal with someone that I already knew and trusted even though I was out of the State. I will always use Rhode Island Home Improvement for my home improvements! They are fantastic!!!

First time I used this company , always had family do my work . I HIGHLY RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE . MR . BLOOM WAS MY SALESMAN VERY , VERY GOOD TO DEAL WITH . I RAN INTO 2 PROBLEMS THAT I RECIVED CALLS FROM INCLUDING THE OWER OF THE COMPANY . I AM SO HAPPY IT HAPPENED TO ME THEY WERE ALL OVER IT FROM DAY ONE . I DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY BAD ABOUT THEM . What a horrible experience. The salesman arrived to my home late and rude. After hearing we had received other quotes and he wasnt the only company bidding he left without even giving us a quote. Dismayed, I spoke with John the owner who apologized and promised to personally call me back with an estime and a proper service call. Im still waiting on his return call and visit. I highly recommend against this company.

Missed two appointments --- was late for the third. Salesman went outside to clear the deal with his manager... the price went up $200 dollars and the quality of the product dropped. Then there were other paperwork errors and more than a month went by.... I think that they used to be better. The workmanship IS good... if you can afford it and wait for it....

They call and call and the number on your caller id will only be 401. They dont leave a message or a call back number. I finally picked up in time to tell them to please stop and they stopped for a while. It has now started again.... My roof has already been finished by a firm with better manners. Dont give them your phone number!

Had my doors replaced about 18 months ago. They were costly but look beautiful. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Last week the storm door was damaged (not normal wear and tear) . The day after I called my door was fixed at no charge. I will definitely consider using this company for my kitchen re-model

We had Rhode Island Home Improvement remodel my elderly mothers bathroom from a standard tub to a beautiful low step in shower right in the existing tub space. Now my mother can feel safe and it looks great. They did a great job. Professional, on time and fast and available for questions before and after.

Rhode Island home improvement has taken care of my windows and my roof. I did my windows five years back and just went forward with my roof. The customer service there really reminds me of the way customers should be treated.
