The slowest, incompetent post office i have ever been. the line is always from the counter to the entrance. i always print my labels at home, because i dont want to stay in the line for 10+ mins every single time when i need to mail a package. i need to ship very often packages overseas, which means even if i print the label at home, i need to stand in the line to send the package. All of the employees who work at the counter, are super slow, unfriendly, sitting on the chair, chewing gum like a cow. Dont need to nonstop smile but at least say HI, not NEXT, how my i help you. The only nice person is Steve. he is awesome, always friendly and helpful. Thank you for that!!! The managers and supervisors more worse. I had issue with the delivery person (all of my signature need package ended up a "notice" that oh we missed you, but they NEVER try to come to the door, i had to set up a camera to prove it). I spoke to two different female "managers", both of them were super rude to me, even they KNEW it was their fault what happened. Also, in 5 years many many people moved to Bluffton, and we have ONLY 1 POST OFFICE?!?!?! seriously?! how its even possible, and Hilton Head have 2!

The absolute WORST service of any Post Office Ive known. I would really like to know where all the packages that are "supposedly" delivered (according to tracking info- delivered in mailbox) that never arrive. Many neighbors in our neighborhood have had the same problem. Seems like the mail carriers are stealing them. We as consumers have no recourse. The company we buy products from are being told by this post office that the package was delivered (again tracking info says delivered) but nothing left at door or mailbox. Try to complain and its like an act of congress to get any resolution. Something seriously needs to be done! This is the same Post Office that dumped weeks worth of mail in the dumpster behind their building. Bluffton Post Office- many of us have not forgotten that!!! Must be nice to be a government employee and not have to worry about losing your job when you continually screw up. Very disappointing!!!

This post office is horrible there is only two people working window even over holidays and people backed to the door waiting in line. The post clerks are rude and at Christmas I mailed some cards and the women forgot to give me the receipt for one that I asked her if I could insure it because it had a gift card she said we dont insure gift cards. Anyway that gift card and card never got to my niece and I did a search on line with the United States mail and it was never found. I think the lady working there stole it because its funny that it was the only one I mailed that never got to its destination. I will never go to this post office again I think their untrustable and incompetent!

Horrible service for 4 days before and 3 days after Hurricane Matthew -- no responses to phone calls; no delivery of mail for 8 days now; no services available and no way to find out when services will be reinstated. Services were stopped before the evacuation was mandatory; evacuation has been lifted for over 36 hrs. and still no communication from the U.S. Post Office in response to my phone calls to find out if I can pick up my mail if I drive to the main post office. This post office should be shut down so people would know to rely on Fed Ex instead.

I havent had long lines when I have gone, but then again- I always make sure I go non-peak hours. Like right before 12pm (lunch rush) or after like 130pm but before 3. And I dont get long lines. Everyone at the counter has always been friendly to me and very helpful. And for those of you who may not know... there is another post office off 170 and 278 next to jersey mikes. Its not full service like this one, but you can send packages and buy stamps etc. I always use that one since I live out that way, but when I use this one it works out just fine!

Rudest, nastiest customer service ever so I started using the machine in the lobby for my postage needs. Until today when I printed the exact postage the machine told me to and my mail got returned to me the next day saying it was enough postage. Really? The machine is the one that chose the amount of postage not me. And the goverment wonders why UPS is more popular than the post office?. And these slackers make a ton of money and get great benefits. Disgusted.

I have been very disappointed in our mail person since I moved into my house and that will be 9 years in June. final straw today is she yet again shoved a package that should have been brought to the door into our mail box, we have already had to replace a mail box due to her being irresponsible and shoving package into the box. At least this time she didnt break it. There is never anything done to make her deliver the mail as it should be delivered.

The complete and utter incompetence of this post office is beyond belief! Three times now when I had a package that was very important i.e. suprize birthday gift, parts for a childs since project, and a time sensitive legal document they have all been lost. Not matter whom I speak with or how kindly I plead for their help it falls on apathetic ears. I will do everything I can to avoid this den of stupidity in the future.

First of all, they did not answer the phone until the third time that I called. After someone finally answered, she was very short and crisp. She did not seem very interested in my problem and I had the feeling that she was talking down to me. She came across very, very rude, disinterested and just in a hurry to get off the phone. She spoiled my whole day!

Went there with a prepaid label one of the associates suggested a wrong box to use. Ask if I could use the tape, he refuses and told me I need to buy the tape for $4. So I decided went back by the house in Hilton head totally diff experience, one of the employee change the box and even offer me to use their tape for free. Never again Bluffton usps!

This gentleman named Doug who works at the Bluffton post office was so helpful and extremely accommodating when i tried to obtain my passport. I could never thank him enough, he went out of his way to help me when he did not have to. The rest of the staff is always really nice as well. Yes the line is long but it is a post office!

Incredibly bad mail delivery person. At least once a week, for over five years now, we get mail addressed to others, wrong name, wrong address. She should at least look at the name on the mail, and make sure it goes in the mail box with that name on it. Its not a hard job and if she can not do it properly she should be fired.

Nothing. Does not deliver to door like supposed to. Shoves mail in the box and broke the box. Delivered torn magazines. Spoke to postmaster and said they dont deliver because houses are not clearly marked. Not true. My house has a big 23 on the house and on a sign right at the entrance.
