Pope Davis is the ONLY place I go for car maintenance! :) They are honest, friendly, and trustworthy. They dont try to get me to have things done that dont really need to be done like some other places. They tell me what needs to be done and how much it will cost. And they always call me if they find something unexpected to get the green light from me. That way, I am never surprised with a huge bill when I pick up my car. I love that I can leave my car there one day and pick it up the next day! And the best part of all is........ Doc!!! He is the BEST! I love Pope Davis!! I trust them completely and am always satisfied with the services performed on my vehicles! If youve never been, you dont know what youre missing!! Go today!!

Awful job on the brakes. They would not even admit to having done something wrong or that they could feel and hear the problem. They could have told me it was something else, and I would not have know the difference except that the particular noise and rattle were not there just before. They will never see me again. Later, I took the vehicle elsewhere (Complete Auto Care on Gervais). They fix the work that had been done improperly by Pope-Davis, plus told me what else was wrong; In early in the morning; out early in the afternoon. All issues properly addressed anc cleared. And Pope-Davis would not even admit to the noise and rattle. What a bunch of losers.

I have visited many different tire stores around the Southeast and California and have found none finer than Pope Davis. Their FOCUS and EYE for service to the customer are second to none. No problem is too big or small for them to tackle and help you thru the process. An issue I would look crosseyed at - James Roberts and his staff solve expertly and immediately. I will never again trust my vehicles to anyone but James Roberts. He is like a big brother. James will whip any automotive problem like raw hide. He is class has a heart for service and treats you like family.

If only there were more stars to give them. I had a tire indicator on in my truck and was preparing to leave town for work for the week. I have been brining my vehicles to Pope-Davis for twenty years and this would be no different. They checked my tire and found no damage, topped off the air, and found that one of the running boards on my truck was loose and missing a bolt. The tech replaced the bolt quickly and it was all done at no charge. Pope-Davis is the definition of customer service. Do yourself a favor and bring your car or truck to Pope-Davis.

Getting a flat tire is never convenient, but Pope-Davis Tire on Assembly certainly made it painless. I drove to their shop on my run-flat tire. I did not have an appointment, but they serviced me immediately. Within 20 minutes, they patched my tire and I was on my way. The best thing was that they did not charge me for the patch! I guess they know that when I need new tires, I will buy from Pope-Davis. The service lady was courteous and efficient. Go to Pope-Davis for all your car tire needs!

I would recommend Pope Davis Tire to anyone and everyone looking for tires or service. James Roberts is always a friendly, smiling face when I come in for oil change or tires. James is always willing to listen to my problems (especially when my husband doesnt notice them or chooses to ignore them) and he will even drive my car to see what the problem is so it can be fixed right away. I would not take my car anywhere else. Ask for James Roberts when you come in.

Excellent service! I just got stationed at Ft Jackson and went to have the entire front suspension replaced because another shop told me my ball joints were going out and they couldnt complete my front end alignment. Georgianna had my truck looked over and found everything to be working fine. I had the shocks replaced anyways due to having over 115k miles and the differential fluid exchanged. They did an excellent job and took great care of the truck.

I noticed while I was waiting that your manager was very helpful and courteous to all of the customers . that was a big plus to me . your prices are fair and Paul was helpful to give the best for your$$ . I had a nail in 2 tires and they said it couldnt be repaired. They werent in the sidewall and I saw no reason they could be plugged and was not given a reason they couldnt be fixed. I was told Id have to buy new tires. Needless to say I left and took my car elsewhere and the tires were plugged and ready to roll

They over charge parts by x3 no trust if you take car there you will be bringing it back for same thing or related the equipment is so out dated you get charged for work that wasnt even done. Best bet folks is to go somewhere else like Franks tires or Nuttall tires for good and honest service for your vehicle.

We were in a hurry passing through on a road trip and had car troubles, they were able to accommodate us right away despite holiday. After time invested testing our car they couldnt pin point a definite problem and were very honest with us about it and didnt charge us. Highly recommend these honest people!

Pope Davis Tire is a great place to get your car serviced. James Roberts is so friendly and always takes the time to listen to your problems. I know I am never getting charged for anything I dont need and am not being taken advantage of. I would highly reccomend James Roberts if you need any work done!

Discovered a nail in my tire and was losing air pressure quickly on Fathers Day weekend. Rolled into the shop, and out the door in 45 minutes! Meanwhile, we had a refreshing bottle of water on the house, and my daughter got to watch a fun movie while we waited. Friendly, efficient, spectacular!

I just called in order to set up an appointment for an oil change. I was instructed to hold as a representative was located. I never got off hold... That is not what you want for service to schedule an appointment. A bad first impression was levied.

James Roberts helped me with great service, fair price (which included everything...no add ons like other service shops will do to the bill, and communicated everything upfront so that I knew what the cost was before my car was serviced...great job.

Overall, I havent had many problems with Pope Davis..however last time I went and got new tires, they didnt tighten the lug nuts. Luckily I could hear them rattling around and was able to tighten them before my wife went on her weekend trip.

I went in for an oil change and by the time I received my car back there was a rip in the seat. The manager lied and refused to follow up about the damage. No point in bringing your car someplace that has no respect for your property.
