I took my SUV in there a couple of years ago to get a water pump installed because I just didn’t have the time to do the job myself. After I paid 635.00 for a water pump and found out latter on that the pump cost them 175.00 at the dealership and the rest was labor. WAY TOO HIGH with 1.25 hours listed in the labor book for my SUV. Well I drove in my car port and parked it, Walked back out side 30 minutes latter and my carport was flooded with antifreeze once again. I filled it back up with water and drove it back up there for them to recheck there work. They told me that I had to replace my radiator. I asked them why when they said at first that it was my water pump (I already knew that it was my water pump the first time) and I asked them to show me where it was leaking. Well come to find out when the mechanic pulled my water pump off he bumped my radiator or either one of his tools hit it and caused a leak. They told me that it would be another 500.00 for labor and parts. I explained to them that it was not my fault that the mechanic caused more damage to my vehicle and it was not leaking when I took it to them and I though that they should pay for it. Mr. Zeagler then when off on me and told me where to go if you know what I mean. Very bad business. So he knows that he is at fault but he is going to do me a favor and only charge me half, (taking responsibility) and because it is about to start snowing in Columbia I decide to go ahead and fix my SUV. I get home and there is automatic transmission fluid all over my carport. I call back up there to tell him and he tells me to take it somewhere else! I ask him if he wanted to meet me there or should they just send the bill to him, he hung up the phone on me. I went outside and tighten up the hoses that his mechanic forgot to connect and topped off all of my fluids once again. My father has similar problems after that and I told him NOT to go there. He has since learned his very expensive Lesson. So please do not do like my father did and not listen to others about how you will be treated at a particular Business, find somewhere else to trade with after talking with friends and family. Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Im from out of state and needed a dependable, fast, reasonably priced mechanic for my older truck before hitting the road again. The first time I went in I got exactly that. The second time I went for other work, they told me would take all day. I arrived at 7:30, checked my car in at 8:00a. The car was not worked on when I left at 11:30a. I arrived back at 4:00p that same day and my car was done. Assuming they did the work right after I left, thats about 4.5 hrs, with labor totaling at $525. So that means they charged me about $115/hr., that is giving them the benefit of the doubt. A bit steep. Is that the going rate? I sucked it up since I needed my car and frankly exhausted from having to walk 2 miles and wait and hop buses to get to their shop 6 miles away. (no, they didnt even offer me a ride when their well dressed business man got preferential treatment - and Im an older woman from out of town, which I told them this before). Im a bit pissed that I got taken advantage of by them. Although the work was done well, Ill give them that. Disturbingly the front office lady (owners wife) isnt exactly the nicest person. I DREAD dealing with her. She responds to me as if I was imposing on her because I wanted more details than what was on a general invoice. I still have to get a lighter/device replaced but they said putting that in would be under $200. What? It took a bit of doing to get a better idea of why he would possible charge me even close to that much. I only needed ONE of the two power plugs fixed. Scott ordered both of them without checking first and was going to change them whether they needed it or not. Parts for both: $35 ($10 for the one I actually needed, $25 for the cigarette lighter I didnt need, which still works); Labor? His guess is under $200. Sure dude, just because I didnt flinch to pay your over priced rates doesnt mean I can keep this up. Frankly, $1500 given to this shop is more than my budget can bare and still get home safely. I dont get a ride, dont have a ride and the smell of cat crap in the office while waiting is difficult to endure. I guess if I were a well-dressed, well paid man, they would give me better treatment.

Ralph Zeagler and his team have been looking after our sorry cars for at least 10 years. He runs a clean, serious workshop. He likes to get car back to you the same day. He is laconic and amusing. We trust him and his team completely. I know next to nothing about cars - I just like them to start and keep running but I know a good mechanic. I hope the business continues to thrive. Convenient location for Shandon dwellers.

my car was vibrating intermittently and the engine check light was on. i took the car to Zeagler, he did a bunch of things and i paid 253$. the next day the engine check light was again turned on and i took it again to him. now he asks 200$ to repair the fault. what the hell..! he could have repaired the fault when he opened the engine first time. this is very unfair......i do not recommend him to anyone.

I took my Chevy Tahoe into the shop with a check engine light on issue. Issue was with the distributor cap button and spark plugs. Diagnosed quickly, truck fixed, runs great. I got the truck back the same day. Communication on issues great, would highly recommend this shop! Will always take my truck there for any service issues.

Great work immaculate shop, very busy, and very polite. Reasonable prices. To me the fact that he works on classic cars says he knows his stuff. Hes not a "parts swapper "- he is a true mechanic." He replaced our clutch on our Ford Explorer and it ran like new.

Im a Senior Citizen (75 yrs) ... This is the first time they have worked on my car ... They had my car towed, fixed the gear shift problem and charged a very reasonable fee. Nice polite, friendly and knowledgeable people! I am so glad to recommend them!

This is the only place I have other people do any work on any of my vehicles. He is honest, fast and wont sell you extra unnecessary things. I would recommend Zeaglers to anyone and to anyones grandmother because I know that you will be treated right.
