What a way to spend your afternoon! We managed to get on one of the last cruises of the season and sooo glad we did! My husband and I brought our two children (3 and 8) not knowing what to expect, but they both had a great time. They fired water cannons at another pirate on the water, took home treasure, danced around and played with the other children. The kids were kept very busy towards the front of the boat, while the parents got some much need down time in the shade of the rear ship with the Captain. Usually I have to keep a close eye on the little one who still gets easily frightened, but the crew were not scary at all, rather they were very fun and seemed to approach each kid according to their personality. I like that they play WITH the kids rather than AT the kids which Ive seen a lot of other "kid oriented" trips focus too much on the "show" part of it. Afterwards it was time for a nap. Bottom line, for a 90 minute cruise around the sound Id say its well worth the money. The kids have a blast and the parents get to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be doing this again next summer!

Fantastic cruise, my daughter loved it. The "crew" was enthusiastic and very caring for the children. It was hot but that is South Carolina, bring some water for your children. The "pirate grog" was a nice touch. It was a peach flavored drink (I think tea) and the kids liked it. If you arent comfortable letting them drink it, then dont let them. It was fine. The crew did a great job helping the kids share the water canons and other pirate duties. One thing to keep in mind is the level of realism is on a 3-8 year old level. Stinky Pete doesnt have an elaborate costume... Thats not the point, the point is you get to track him down and shoot him with a water canon. ...it wasnt a real pirate ship and the gold wasnt real either, but my daughter loved it as if it was. This will be a treasured memory for a very long time.

Great 1 hour boat tour for little ones! So good even the locals take it. My 3 year old daughter loved it! She got a little tattoo, & her arm painted. All the little boys got tattoos, and mustachs and beards painted on their faces. The pirates where great but a lady pirate name Squirt was the phenominal host pirate. She taught them the pirate language, she fished a real jellyfish out of the water for the children to observe and threw it back, she pulled a treasure out of the ocean, and showed the kids how to shoot "Stinky Pete"; the enemy pirate with a water cannnon, etc, etc, etc..... There were 3 other families that live on the island year round on the trip too. Loved it! Dont let your little ones miss this tour were going again in October

If you love dolphins dont use these guys. They see wild dolphins every day yet still promote dolphin captivity on social media to 14,000 followers. It is such a shame they take what they have for granted and dont appreciate what Hilton Head has to offer. Promote seeing them in the wild, not in a tank where they are given anti-depressants every morning so they can interact with humans without lashing out in anger. Our Hilton Head dolphins are happy. Promote and appreciate them. So sad...

We took our grandson on this cruise. The script for the children was great and everyone seem to have fun. The staff were great . The music used was not age appropriate for children. It was music for adults that you would hear in a bar. There are great action pirate song which would have been more age appropriate.

We had a blast, the crew is so up beat and they make every child aboard feel special! My little girl is three and was a bit over whelmed at first but every single crew member from the captain to the pirate girls reached out to her to make her comfortable! Well worth every penny spent!

The kids loved it. Definitely would recommend for kids under 10. The crew does a great job engaging the kids and the parents and making sure everyone enjoys it. Just be sure to bring water and sunblock on the boat for you and the kids as it gets very hot very fast. !

The Pirates of Hilton Head adventure tour was one of the most fun things we did with our kids. Its great for kids aged 4-7 and that are going through the pirate phase. Im not going to lie, I wish I got a turn on the water cannons.

We had so much fun on our trip! This is a must if you have kids they even include the parents. The crew was amazing. I dont have one bad thing to say. Bonus: We even got to see dolphins!

Fun for the entire family. Staff is great. They are engaging, fun and funny. Headed back there next week with our "now" 5 year old.
