I am an out-of-towner that came to Hilton Head this past weekend for a friends wedding. After an unfortunate experience at a local salon where I lived, I needed an emergency appointment before the wedding for a color re-do and a little fixing of a choppy, uneven cut. Luckily, Jaime at Salon 5200 was able to squeeze me in. For a very reasonable price, my previous bad-highlight job was transformed and I got the sun-kissed look I was going for. Not only did she completely fix my color, she also went through and fixed my cut without taking any additional length off. I have had so many compliments! And, I have to say, I just saw some pictures from the wedding, and my hair looked awesome. Not only did she do a great job, but she also was so tolerant as I was super-high maintenance and had to pull out my laptop to finish a project for work while she was working on me. She was genuinely sweet and personable. If I ever move to Hilton Head, I will definitely be going back to Jaime--she was fabulous!

I just got my hair colored, trimmed, and blow-out at Salon 5200 and love it! Salon 5200 is not like any other Salon on Hilton Head that I have ever been to. The professional and comfortable atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable... Everyone was so happy, nice, and accommodating... Not to mention how much LOVE MY NEW HAIR! Wow! The color is spectacular with lowlights and highlights. Salon 5200 is the best of the best! I see why they consistently receive all the Awards! Salon 5200 is one of a kind. Salon 5200 is located in Main Street Village. I recommend you give Salon 5200 a call and check it out. All it takes is one visit to Salon 5200, and you will fall in love!

Whenever I visit Hilton Head I get my hair cut at Salon 5200. Its a beautiful facility and Ive found all of the stylists to be friendly and professional. The location, right outside the Hilton Head Plantation main gate is convenient for me. I got the exact haircut I requested, and got a manicure too - Amy was friendly and expert at her work. Besides the nice environment I also like the complementary cup of Keurig coffee. I saw their plaque for the Island Packet Readers Choice Award where they were Voted Islands Best Hair Salon for 2012, which doesnt surprise me. Salon 5200 is always a nice part of a trip to HHI.

I absolutely love this salon; especially the hair stylist named Mary. I am incredibly picky when it comes to my hair (this is the first issue free haircut I have had since January 2009), and she gave me THE BEST one I have ever had. She is obviously highly trained and very focused on giving her customers exactly what they want without the stereotypical smalltown salon gossip. Whether you are a local or a tourist, I highly encourage you to make your way to Salon 5200.

Called and booked an appointment for the next week. When I call back to make sure Im still On for that day, they say I dont have an appointment at all. Surprised because I read all the reviews etc. before calling them so I know which salon I called to. The lady who answered my call told me that I might have called some other salon and that they do not have me at all. I checked my call list to make sure I called them and yes I did. Disappointed about it.

Great Salon! I just moved to the island and have very difficult hair. I went for a Brazilian blow out and color and was lucky enough to get one of the owners, Shiela. She did an amazing job. Debbie who answers the phone really listens and paired me with the right person. I will definately make this my go to hair salon.

Ive lived all over the world. Salon 5200 is top notch. The owner, Sheila is classy and kind. Mary does my hair. You can tell shes a seasoned stylist by her color expertise and awesome cuts. When I sit in her chair confident that she will work her magic and that Ill leave feeling beautiful. Five stars for sure!
