Terribly Displeased

Went to Cutting Image for a haircut today and walked out of there feeling totally stressed and looking absolutely ridiculous. My beautiful medium length hair has been ruined. It is now totally uneven and so short that a pony tail looks stupid and if I leave the hair untied, it looks even worse!! My hair does not grow fast, so now I am stuck with this ridiculous look for at least three to four months. DO NOT go to this place. The stylist did not apologize for what he did. He argued with me. The person at the front desk was apologetic, but once your hair is ruined, all you can do is avoid looking in the mirror and hope that the next three to four months pass very quickly! Terrible experience. Will never go back to this place!!

I am not one to write reviews normally; however, if you are web searching for a new salon, you MUST try this one. I was very nervous about getting a new cut. Ive had some bad experiences in the past (especially with some of the walk-in places), but I have to say I just got one of the best haircuts of my life. I called yesterday to make an appointment; they got me in with Shane today. She was professional, courteous, focused, and most importantly, knew what she was doing. The prices were reasonable, and she showed me simple ways to achieve the same style at home. I will be returning in the future.

I am speechless. I went there today and now I look like a suburban housewife, so if thats the look you are going for, this is a place for you! My stylist was very nice, but bless her heart did an atrocious job with my hair! The cut is ok, but the color is green dish water blonde/yellow highlights. I went there because I wanted to change something and make myself feel better. Instead, $225.00 later I look 10 years older. I will NEVER go back there again! Cutting edge... What a joke!

I was a loyal client of Cutting Image when I lived in South Park. I hear they have added quite a few new stylists lately, but I was always happy with Emilys work and so was my husband. As weve moved to Ballantyne Ive moved on to a top notch salon within walking distance here, but I would still highly recommend Emily at if youre looking for a talented, professional hairstylist in South Park.

I had a wonderful experience! Last week I went to a different salon and had a terrible experience so I came to Cutting Image to have the hack job fixed. I am very particular about my hair as Im sure most women are. Justin did a fabulous job and was so knowledgable. I truly feel like a million bucks. I will definitely be making Cutting Image my go to salon.

I have been trying to find a good salon/stylist in Charlotte for about a year now. After trying three other places, I thought I was doomed to have horrible hair. In stepped Emily and Cutting Image! Emily was so helpful and knew exactly what to do!! This is the first haircut that I have gotten in Charlotte that I have absolutely 100% LOVED.

definitely stay away from here! less than a month later the color i went in for washed out after two washes and has now left me with ugly green hair!! management is icredibly rude and wouldnt take ownership to fix my hair or even apologize!!!
